“I no longer have as much faith as I used to in either the medical establishment, or in published studies: it is dollar-driven, not really data-driven.

After fighting the clot-shots trolls, I tend to have less patience than I used to with people pushing the consensus narrative “because SCIENCE™!””

I actually agree with you on almost everything you’ve said. Politics and profit should have no impact on the outcome of a scientific study. Sadly that is increasingly NOT the case. That doesn’t mean that published studies are worthless, just that confirmation by independent researchers may be required.

Good luck getting funded;
or getting researchers immune from cancel culture to perform it (or an institution for the work to be performed at); or an IRB to approve it; or a journal to publish it.

Without, you know, simultaneously publishing a dozen junk studies to deBOOONK the “disinformation”™.

Alot of Linus’ findings are not in vogue/rescinded studies. I think he might have had strange personal beliefs, too.

Vitamin C is THEE answer to this scourge but good luck getting hospitals to play ball since there’s no money in it for them.

The efforts of the Medical Industrial Complex to bury Vitamin C as an effective treatment for anything other than Scurvy is astounding. Below is the link for the Google page search “Dr. Robert Cathcart, Vitamin C Therapy” Especially read the second link to Vitamin C Treatment to Bowel Tolerance. More below the link.

https://www.google.com/search?q=dr.+robert+cathcart%2C+vitamin+c+therapy&rlz=1CAJCUZ_enUS847&oq=dr.+robert+cathcart%2C+vitamin+c+therapy&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i64.19470j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&bshm=rime/1#ip=1

Dr. Cathcart had become aware of Vitamin C’s potential in the 1970s, but was writing about it by 1981. I first became aware of Vitamin C as a treatment more than 50 years ago from reading books by Adelle Davis like Let’s Eat Right to Keep Fit; Let’s Get Well, and more. Subsequently, I also became aware of the work of a Dr. Klenner using high Vitamin C for snake bites, hornet stings, black widow spiders, and even for poison ivy and mosquito bites (as seen at the end of the link below). He began his studies in the 1930s.

This was fortunate because in the mid 1980s I was at a large wilderness campout. I arrived at the MASH tent where I was a volunteer to find a woman who had been stung in the neck by 3 yellow jackets. She had forgotten to pack her bee allergy kit. Her body was puffy all over, her eyes were swollen shut and she was choking severely and gasping for breath. Something floral called “rescue remedy” was not working. I found a big bottle of Vitamin C, and immediately crushed 10 1 gram tablets and mixed in a glass of water. She managed to drink it and in 20 minutes her eyes were open, she was no longer choking, and the skin swelling was going down. I spent 8 hours with her giving 5 grams per hour, until she said she felt better and could judge when she needed more Vitamin C. At 4 am I should go back to my tent and catch some sleep. Next day when I went to check on her she had packed up and hiked out with her friends.

The efforts of the medical authorities to suppress the information about Vitamin C borders on the criminal. Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling’s foundation is just one of the many to suffer the efforts to downgrade interest in this low cost. highly effective treatment for many kinds of ills. More recently, it appears information on experiments begun in China in spring 2020 to treat Covid with 24 gm per day IV were being suppressed in this country. I never could find any information on those study results which had been promised for Sept. 2020. Apparently a medical group in Turkey did find these studies. In 2021 they added IV 24 gm per day Vitamin C to the original Dr. Zelenko 3 part protocol of zinc, HCQ, and Azithromycin, plus some Vitamin D3 to greatly reduce the time spent in hospital with Covid infection. How much longer are we going to allow our “authorities” to hide such important information from us?

Is it too late to sue the bastards for not using this safe and effective treatment? Just a thought, and my condolences.

During several hospitalizations, my brother has been prevented from bringing any supplements into the hospital. My lawer has suggested bringing a lawyers statement regarding the right to use whatever supplements the patient wishes as a defending document.

If I remember correctly, I think it was closer to 10,000 mg. Personally I have been taking around 7 grams a day for many years. I have several common allergens. I take 2 grams morning and bedtime, and 1 or 2 grams during the day when nasal congestion becomes annoying. Two grams before house cleaning as house dust is one of my allergens. Dr.Robert Cathcard says normal people would be wise to take 4 grams a day, spaced out over around 5 or 6 hours. He has recommended as much as 100 to 200 grams a day for some very severe illnesses/infections. When you start to have runny bowel movements cut back your dose a bit. That is what Cathcart refers to as “treating to bowel tolerance.”

The question we should be asking is how much money could we be saving on Medicare costs if the government started insisting on the availability of Vitamin C and other low cost treatments. Gee, maybe we could afford to pay full social Security for a few more centuries? Oh, wait, they want us to all die quicker to save on Social Security costs.

I think for someone who is unconscious you could use retention enema and Vitamin C mixed with water in an emergency with no IV treatment available.
