"Top Gun will follow “a diverse range of Navy student pilots” as they embark “on some of the most challenging flight tests possible,"
This is the line, word, I expected to find, "diverse" which means NOT diverse. In other words every black, female lesbian they can find will get the most camera time. And white men will be a token.
And we'll get a good dose of woke preaching about race, genderism, and how our military "helps" other nations.
I can't watch. I won't watch.
Sounds like a series that will run out of story lines pretty quickly.
I’m not planning on watching it either.
Mabey. Maverick was awsome. Remind3d me of 1980’s America. Then I cried.
If I hear “Talk to me, Goose” one more time...
Race... Class... Gender.
The original Top Gun and sequel "Top Gun: Maverick" were outstanding movies. Making a TV series on the coat tails of the movies is abuse of the franchise.
The Pilot (pun not intended) was pretty good. Lots of flying hardware and pretty accurate representation of air force life.
Then the script writers got their PC BS into the story lines. It became preachy and woke and a story hodgepodge about anything but military pilots.
When did the navy get “pilots?”
“”challenging flight tests””???
Test pilots check out new jet airplanes, new designs, upgrades, limits of designs.
Will this woke version test how men in tights and dresses react under heavy g-forces? Will this new series have JAG officers dedicated to suing at a moment’s notice when the trans pilot feels slighted?
Perhaps the newest jet design can be named F-LGBHTQWERTY?
The Navy brass is desperate to catch the falling knife of their recruiting and retention numbers and think this TV show will help them.
Another TV Series by the time Hollywood gets done with it it’ll look like My Mother The Car from the 60’s.
Snow Dyke and the Seven Perverts.
