Joran van der Sloot, the prime suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, is expected to take a plea deal after being charged in an extortion plot involving the Holloway family.
Natalee Holloway was 18 years old when she took a senior trip to Aruba in May 2005 with Mountain Brook High School.
Natalee Holloway was last seen leaving a bar with van der Sloot, but she was never found. In January 2012, a judge legally declared Natalee Holloway dead after a request from her father.

IIRC-—HE IS being extradicted to here. Peru gave him up. He killed a girl there, also
Moved to the US in June...under a deal with Peru. After this court case ends and sentence is announced, he is to return to Peru to carry out the remainder of the sentence there for the murder of the Peruvian girl (that was a 28 year sentence). Upon the end of that period, he is to be brought back to the US and carry out the sentence from the US case. Pretty unusual deal, and I have some doubt that the transfer back to Peru will occur (probably a court challenge).
Just a humble feeling...fairly sure on the two girls being murdered by this guy, but I would be asking...are there more murders?

AFAIC, they should have just let him rot for 28 years in that Peruvian prison - MUCH worse than getting him back here in the US just to tell the story. The mother should just admit the reality and let him rot. He would never have made it through his prison sentence in Peru, IMO. They did him a huge favor.

IIRC his dad was a judge in Aruba and may have used his authority to help his POS kid stay out of trouble. If so, he should stand right alongside him in the joint.
Truly a bad seed. Can you imagine how many girls he may have murdered when he was in Thailand?
