Kate Smith first performed “God Bless America” the day before Veteran’s Day in 1938. She was a patriotic American, who wanted to encourage fellow citizens as they suffered through a terrible depression and saw a world being torn apart by Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. She wanted to reach Americans with the faith she felt for the future of the nation.
As a leading performer in a radio market reaching nearly every household in the country, her way would be through song. So, Kate asked Irving Berlin to write a song that would cause citizens to embrace a positive perception of the country. Irving said he already had what she was looking for and found a song he had written 22 years ago, but never published. They were unsure how the song would be received but agreed to never accept any profits. The Boy Scouts of America have been the recipient of millions in royalties.
For all time “God Bless America”, causes patriotic inspirations and elicits memories of the extraordinary commitment to individual liberty this country was intended to have. From beginning to end, the song reads as a prayer directed towards petitioning for the beauty, courage, and spirit of our country to be treasured and renewed. Part way through the first performance of the song you will see Ronald Reagan who in 1986 awarded Kate the Presidential Medal of Freedom. For veterans of WW II, Korea, Cold War, Vietnam, and Iraq, the song has been cherished for representing a truly meaningful expression of their service.
Therefore, Kate Smith has to be denigrated in the ongoing effort to deform and destroy this country as founded. The vehicle chosen was the song “That's Why Darkies Were Born”, which Paul Robison and Kate Smith recorded to strike at racism by sarcastically exaggerating perceptions opposite to the realities of black humanity. A radio address in 1945 found on the “Tune In” magazine, linked to below, provides her true attitude about racial tolerance.
Morally and intellectually crippled individuals have decided to ignore Kate’s character and to consider her singing the song inflicted emotional damage on them. They were able to force the Philadelphia Flyers executives, owners, and media to cover and remove her statue from the team stadium entrance. All indicated their purity by receiving effortless, addictive compassion as the drug of choice.
Creating theaters of delusion provides those seeking aristocrat status useful constituencies. Social and political initiatives in private institutions and governments offer spurious emotional and physical security in exchange for abject conformity. These cunning moral precepts, laws, and rules, well marinated in newly defined social justice, allow cultural Marxism to hold mainstream prominence in support of White Privilege, Black Lives Matter, and Critical Race Theory.
Karl Marx says, “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggle”. This world view is limited to what can be observed, measured, or computed. Everything exists within the bounds of infinity. Humanity exists as swarms identified to be irradicated or dominated. There is no perception or acknowledgement of eternity.
The Declaration of Independence says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. In this expression, the Creator reaches into our world from eternity to endow individual humans with inestimable value and caution governments to cherish His perception, while considering their own fallibility.
Current military/political leadership, at least sense Bill Clinton, emphasizes the former historical view using ethnicity, gender, class, and race to undermine basic cohesiveness and leadership authority. Social engineering that amalgamates Critical Race Theory plus LBGQ+ and feminist agendas has become an overarching imperative to which all operational capabilities must submit.
In a recent example Joe Biden chose Air Force General Charles Q. Brown Jr. to become Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He said, “that the ideals of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution ‘that I’ve sworn my adult life to support and defend’ have not always delivered ‘liberty and equality’ to all.” However, other forms of government have never delivered material or spiritual prosperity to humanity.
A lot of good men are going to have to die in years to come to cover up the abandonment of the military as the ultimate, focused meritocracy. I now always council folks I meet to never enter the Armed Forces. In our immediate families eight men volunteered and served over three generations, but never again.
In our new Armed Forces Kate Smith and her prayer “God Bless America” cannot be allowed to represent a meaningful expression of service. The national anthem becomes a jingle, the oath of office to support and defend the Constitution becomes a parody, and the uniforms become costumes.

We used to watch her tv show for the brief time it was on in 1960.
During WWII, FDR once referred to Kate Smith as “America’s mightiest weapon” because of how she raised troop morale.
Can’t imagine any true America would not feel their heart fill with pride and patriotism from her singing.
I don’t know the whole story but mother was babysat by Kate’s staff backstage.
"Yip Yip Yaphank" played all over the country as an enlistment tool. When World War II broke out, Irving took much of the "Yaphank" material and turned it into "This Is the Army," which played on Broadway and all over the country. At the first performance, Irving came on stage to sing "How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning" and stopped the show. There were ten minutes of standing ovation before he could sing the number. Warner Brothers turned it into a movie, and Irving reprised his role.
Kate Smith had asked Irving for something special, and he reached into his file cabinet and pulled out the original version of "God Bless America.' He changed the key and rewrote the lyrics.
Irving held onto his money, outlived two wives, and spent his final years in a million-dollar apartments on the Upper West Side. On his 100th birthday, he woke up to a chorus outside singing his songs a capella. He asked them to come up, and Irving and his housekeeper made blueberry waffles for the whole crowd. He was tickled that people still remembered him.
In 1989, after his 101st birthday, Irving Berlin went to sleep one night and didn't wake up. It was as good a way to go as any.
"And now we take great pleasure in presenting to you, the star of our program."
This particular program being a new song, "God Bless Åmerica", written years earlier by Irving Berlin who was born Israel Beilin.
