A 13-year-old boy was accused of planning a mass shooting at an Ohio synagogue, according to court documents cited in local news reports.
The reports said the boy, who has not been publicly named because he’s a minor, now faces juvenile misdemeanor charges of inducing panic and of disorderly conduct. He is set to go to trial on Dec. 20 in Stark County Family Court.
In the court documents, law enforcement officials claimed the boy “did create a detailed plan to complete a mass shooting at the Temple Israel on the Discord platform,” which is an online platform for group chats.

Yup. People need to think about that when the media talks about all of the “innocent civilians” in Gaza. As far as I’m concerned, there aren’t any.
My thoughts as well, although I am leaning more towards the muslim camp and learning it at home.

The juvenile defendant’s arrest came about five weeks before Hamas’s 7 October attacks in Israel – and the subsequent Israeli military campaign in Gaza – ignited a surge of antisemitic and Islamophobic episodes across the US.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Monday issued a statement saying it has documented more than 2,000 reports of antisemitism in the US in the eight weeks after the Israel-Gaza conflict erupted – a 337% increase over the same period in 2022.
Meanwhile, the Council on American-Islamic Relations recently said it documented more than 2,000 requests for help and reports of bias since the start of the conflict. The organization described that volume as an “unprecedented” spike.
I would suggest caning until the cane meets bone, and sent on his way to think about life. Repeat if he gets any bright ideas.
Being tried as a juvenile so the longest he’ll be off the streets is <8 years.
