You've heard of feeding the fish, but have you heard of feeding the fish to a bald eagle in the wild via alley-oop?
Cuz watch this, it's the most America thing you'll see maybe for the rest of the year.

That’s very cool.
OK, yup, that’s kewl.
I’m not sure that it’s legal, though...............
But is it legal?...................
Will the Biden Gestapo visit him at 3am some night soon?...............
That little boy will be able to tell his children that he watched his Dad toss a fish to a Bald Eagle, in flight, and the Eagle caught it. And who knows, maybe one day, that same little boy when he grows up, and is out fishing with his own son, he’ll get to do the same. It would be a nice family tradition.
Well, he didn’t touch the bird, try to take it, or anything like that. Unless the fish was somehow ‘illegal’, I’m not sure what law it would violate (?)
Eagles can be a nuisance, even more so when they learn this.
I’m fairly sure it’s legal. Now, if that eagle had shed a feather and Dad and the kid had caught it, that’d be a felony. No joke. Dontcha love the federal gummint?
A fish, yes. But somebody's pet cat? No......
Well, that bunch can apparently do anything it likes and get away with it.
But I doubt anyone even thought enough about something like this to make a law against it. How is it really different than when a protected species steals food from your backyard barbecue?

Used to watch eagles and osprey fishing on the Klamath. Occasionally a successful bird would be attacked by another and loose its meal. Balds in Homer AK behave like seagulls when fishing boats dock.
Here’s an idea — someone should get hold of a bad eagle feather, then sneak up and stick it in Hunter Biden’s pocket. Then yell for the cops. This may be the only thing that might actually send him to prison.
Wait! That fish was an endangered species!
I used to live in a place where a big mob of gulls would occasionally come by. We’d throw bread up at them from the balconies and they’d catch it in the air.
Birds are pretty smart; it doesn’t take them long at all to learn stuff like this. They remember things, too. I fed the birds for years at my workplace; when I went back after two years of lockdown, some of the birds made a beeline for me - they remembered, after all that time!
Better than me....when I think about all the times I have forgotten peoples names....
I didn’t do it... Gulls can’t regurgitate or burp.
Alka Seltzer could be fatal.
Birds have far fewer things to have to keep in mind.
And they have excellent eyesight upon which they rely (most birds have little to no sense of smell.) They know the difference between one person and the next.
