The custody dispute between a German steakhouse heiress and her former husband took an unexpected turn over the weekend when their youngest children were abducted while celebrating New Year’s with their father in Denmark, local authorities said.
Christina Block’s two children — 13-year-old Klara and Theodor, 10 — were watching fireworks with their father, Block’s ex-husband Stephan Hensel, at a cafe in Gravenstein around 12:15 a.m. Monday when a group of men attacked, Bild newspaper reported.
The men knocked Hensel down and forced the children into a car before speeding away in two separate vehicles, the outlet said, citing Danish police.

I suspected immediately that the kids are a couple of brats, but that's 'steakhouse heiress', not 'sausage king'.

Block, 49, is the daughter of German entrepreneur Eugen Block, whose Hamburg-based empire includes the popular Block House steakhouse chain.
Morton’s it is not. A rather ordinary looking meal. It is also not a very large chain with just 56 restaurants.
As to the speculation that he kidnapped the children, he watching fireworks with the children. Two cars bearing German plates. So it is more likely the wife who engineered this.
I am also guilty as charged in this regard.
I recently saw the documentaries about the Pam Hupp thing for the first time. That is officially the craziest thing I have ever seen.

I would think more concern with the fact she has admitted to a criminal act.
The father was awarded custody be a court so she has committed several crimes at this point.
I would hate be the fall guys who helped with the abduction.

I’m about 5 episodes into the Dateline miniseries. Pam just poisoned her mother. OMG. How evil!
I’ll have to read that book. Now that Ann Rule is dead, I have to find other true crime authors.
