EXCLUSIVE Long-range missiles strike civilian targets across Europe. Baltic states are invaded. AI-controlled tanks rule the battlefield. As NATO warns of Russian attack in 20 years, a terrifying prediction of how it will unfold
Daily Mail ^ | 1/20/24 | David Averre, Rachael Bunyan, Chris Jewers

Almost two full years into Russia's invasion of Ukraine and with the Middle East teetering on the brink of disaster following Hamas' October 7th attacks on Israel, the threat of a wider war looms large on the horizon.

Prime ministers, defence secretaries and military chiefs have claimed that the threat of a major conflict is greater now than at any other time since the Cuban Missile Crisis.

European governments one after the other have issued grave warnings to their citizens to start preparing for a fight.

And now, NATO countries are gearing up for one of their largest-ever drills, with 90,000 troops from all corners of the continent and the United States set to embark upon Herculean war games - a last-ditch effort to display their military might before Vladimir Putin and any other potential threats.

All of this comes as Admiral Rob Bauer, the chairman of NATO's Military Committee, urged governments and civilians alike to prepare for a 'wholesale change' in their lives, predicting a large-scale armed conflict in the next 20 years.

Retired Brigadier General Kevin Ryan told MailOnline: 'In 2024, Russia's defence spending will grow to $140 billion - a third of the national budget.

'These changes do not make sense if they are aimed solely at the current adversary – Ukraine – a country one-third the population of Russia and barely holding its own.

'The changes only make sense if Russia is preparing for a war against a major foe, like NATO.'

Now, with the help of a team of former military chiefs and security experts, MailOnline examines how a Russian assault of Europe could unfold before 2044.

Phase One: Cyber warfare and missile strikes

The technological capabilities harboured by bad actors around the world are growing exponentially.

Cyber attacks are now a near-daily occurrence...

The best reason to defeat Russia in Ukraine, is so that international war crimes courts can teach the Russians, that attacking purely civilian targets is a capital offense that will get them hanged.

When the "news" becomes fully fictional, "reporting" means creative writing and foretelling a future becomes, as a couple of the comments on Daily Mail say, "twaddle."

One observes that featured in this article is Ben Hodges, who publicly endorsed Biden in the 2020 election cycle.

So we're in Democrat Central (UK subsidiary), at this point. And Hodges is beating the war drums for Biden (and probably Clinton):

"He endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 U.S. presidential election in an op-ed with Ambassador Robert A. Mandell and Lieutenant General Donald M. Campbell Jr." In Wiki article: "Ben Hodges."

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Hodges

"Two retired generals, retired ambassador, all with Florida ties: Trump is unfit to lead," by Donald M. Campbell, F. Ben Hodges and Robert A. Mandell, Tallahassee Democrat, 29 Octover 2020.

That is correct.

I can think of another potential major foe that might be concentrating the Russians' minds -- one that is also upgrading its military on a crash basis -- but put that aside. The Europeans have needed to wake up for a long time. The Pax Americana has been eroding for a long time and it is now in full collapse, giving way to the Biden Freefire Zone. U.S. allies need to get serious and realize that they can't count on America today.

Russia can’t even defeat Ukraine after all this time. And they think they can defeat NATO? This article is stupid.

“Russia can’t even defeat Ukraine after all this time. And they think they can defeat NATO?”

Hard to predict. For example, if somehow Russia attacked UK and Slovakia, they’d own both countries in 5 minutes. For that matter, if Gabon attacked both the UK and Slovakia, they’d also own both countries in 5 minutes.

The reason for both of the above is that UK and Slovakia have virtually nothing left to fight with, having disposed of nearly all of their military in Ukraine (literally all of their military in the case of Slovakia, based on what their new president has said).

Maybe in 20 years, they’ll re-arm, but since they OBVIOUSLY know Russia won’t attack them (why else unilaterally disarm), I doubt they’ll bother spending the money.

there you go.

we have Western civilization concerning itself with pronouns, defending perversions of all sorts, ignoring the truths of holy writ, and making victims of perpetrators.

we are so ripe for defeat. this is Rome in 476, Jerusalem in 586 BC, Constantinople in 1453...

Daniil Bezsonov, Deputy Minister of Information of the so-called "DPR," said that Russia hopes that Ukraine will eventually agree to negotiate (meaning, to capitulate) and then Ukrainians will fight alongside Russia against NATO.

Christ was some rapper dude who had a booze-up with 13 of his cult members back at the compound. Some Jude guy, accused of being a Roman Imperial plant, stirred up the guys wanting the women for themselves, dropped a dime on Christ, and the Romans arrested Christ for disturbing the peace. He died while in police custody under circumstances his cult members claim is suspicious. The race of the suspect, Jesus, remains a subject of controversy and the police are refusing to release his manifesto, but we have obtained a secret copy and tomorrow's bombshell segment will report on what we have found.

This intellectual rot in our country, this cartoon analysis of Russia has us headed for WWIII. I would ask everyone, if the postmodern understanding of America is so utterly frivolous, why would you trust the same cretins trained by the same woke professors in the same woke ideas, any of them, to put together a sound geopolitical analysis that would be the basis for a rational American strategy. They don't even know what a woman is? How can they then say what an American is or what a Russian isn't.

And here, we have in a graphic novel the best minds from the Central Committee's planning cell present us with how Russia will attack NATO- WITH MAPS.

The analysis BTW ignores the obvious axis of attack - go right to the center of the power and destroy NATO by attacking America through its undefended Southern border with troops disguised as asylum seekers.

I’m not seeing Russia attacking the rest of Europe and that’s based on what’s been going on in Ukraine. Putin will be long dead and unless they start having a massive male population explosion starting now it ain’t happening.

This analysis comes from guys who can't distinguish between America and our actual enemies and therefore through projection believe that the Russians are guilty of the same confusion. Seriously?

Our Academy tried to deconstruct Amerika and rebuild it on wokeism, some sort of modernistic leaning tower of Pizza where "for the Children" does not mean what you think it means. While we thought the idea of Russia was a house of cards, it turns out to be a far more realistic concept that the people in that place speaking that language understand and defend - much more so than this woke will-of-the-whisp post-modern nihilistic state that has to fight its own people because a subversive near majority still believe in and are still trying to defend that old relic represented by 'Ol Glory which is a kissing cousin of the confederate flag a symbol of some sort of racist counter-revolution to the woke state.

Yeah, and it was an excellent book too, Red Storm Rising, which was a pretty good overview of NATOs strategy to defend against the Soviet Union - which is dead, Jim. What didn’t die was the original example of an entitled bureaucratic deep state elite - the employees of NATO.

Right, Russia with thousands of nuclear missiles aimed at us, is not our enemy? Okay

And this, you deepstate shill, just shows how shallow the analysis is.

Now about that gaping strategic hole in our defenses - which we don’t even call a border anymore - I see you are not the least worried about that.

FOOL!

“The warmonger globalists are working on a self-fulfilling prophecy.”

Look at demographics. In 20 years Russia won’t have enough soldiers to occupy Western Europe. It is doubtful it does today. Russian tanks overrunning Western Europe is a Cold War nightmare, not today’s reality.

Looking at demographics Western Europeans should be much more concerned about living under Muslim Sharia law than an occupying Russian army.

Over the last 50 years, which nation has the most incidents of sending troops into foreign nations? The US by far has been the most aggressive militarily. US troops occupied Afghanistan for 18 years and are in Syria, Iraq and other nations far from the US homeland today. Strangely, the US has no troops along its own border, or in Mexico where an invading force of tens of millions has crossed in the US in the 21st century.

Russian’s actions in Europe are a European problem. If the US doesn’t defend its own border soon, there will be nothing to defend.

Ukraine has been doing that to the Donbas region since 2014. Where's the war crimes tribunals for that?

Some morons cannot seem to understand that we have enemies within and abroad.

Only fools do not recognize a country for an enemy that has thousands of nuclear missiles aimed at us.
