The remains of the last known victim of the Green River Killer have been identified as a Washington State teen – though investigators say there may still be other unsolved cases linked to the infamous murderer.

The partial remains were identified as belonging to Tammie Liles, of Everett, the King’s County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) announced.

“With this identification, there are no other unidentified remains associated with the Green River Case,” the sheriff’s office said.

The incomplete set of bones and teeth were first discovered in 2003, when serial killer Gary Ridgway – known as the Green River Killer – led detectives to a spot where he claimed to have left a victim’s body, the KCSO explained.

Before DNA, he would have gotten away with it.

They say if you find a job doing something you love, you’ll never work another day in your life.

Can he run for Congress in WA? All he has to do is be “effective” and a “Democrat” to win election out there.

I don’t think “They” are correct. A bad boss and/or government can screw up any job.

Mr Ridgeway, if you had to do it over again, would you do anything different?
"Yes. Next time, no more Mr Nice Guy!"

Neko Case doing ‘Deep Red Bells’, supposedly inspired by the Green River Killer. Depressing song, I had to stop listening to it. Kelly Hogan, a great singer in her own right sings backup.

‘Girls like you who lost their way,
murdered on the interstate,
while the red bells rang like thunder’.

I couldn’t be happier with the Othram group and the others using advanced DNA technology to bring justice. Here’s a good site to follow for many other cases:

It's not King's County, it's King County.

Why hasn’t Ridgeway been executed?

“Why hasn’t Ridgeway been executed?”

It’s the state of Washington.
Even Bundy had to go to Florida to get executed.

In Washington if Ridgeway was black, hell they’d let him loose. Probably give him free Starbucks for life. BLM and the neighborhood takeover killings.

It's not King's County, it's King County.

Originally named after a territorial governor but changed to MLK a decade or so ago.

Why hasn’t Ridgeway been executed?

He cut a deal with King Co to tell "all" and where the bodies are in exchange for no death penalty.

49 victims have been identified so far (there are probably more)

Washington state pays the MLK family $20,000 a month to use his likeness. Previously there was just a crown standing for King at no cost to the taxpayers.

Washington state pays the MLK family $20,000 a month to use his likeness.

That should come out of King Co's pocket, not the state's. But this being a far left state, any comment to that will only get Dimslee & Co to offer more.

I went to the NY Post site to see a picture of the victim. She was a sweet, sad looking 16 year-old girl, reduced to a few bones and teeth by an evil SOB, who for reasons known only to God, still lives. Are there no inmates in the Washington prisons with what it take to terminate the bastard?

Reminds me of the cheaply printed Hitler poster I used to see at gun shows; Hitler saying “When I get back, No More Mr. Nice Guy!”
