OK, we could bomb and invade Iran. It would be a hard fight but we could win that one, but what if Russia and China say no and come to Iran’s aid? We have WW III and that one if not a shoe in. Russia has been lining up allies, putting spies into our land. They may have nukes here even. Iran might have done the same. We could be facing a real problem—WW III we could lose and with it our Superpower status and a blow to the American psychology. Defeat would be a bitter pill to swallow, occupation by Chinese troops would be hard. No, we are not ready for WW III.
No, as I said, I could get behind some drone strikes (similar to when Trump took out Gen Qasem Soleiman), but not boots on the ground.
There’s not any need to invade Iran.
Iran has a very vulnerable economy, a restive population, and if it comes to it, they have a very shaky water supply.
