Eggs are a symbol of Christ who came out of the tomb in the same way that chicks come out of the egg.
PETA has lots of money, but I despise them. They would send white girls from the west (Mainly US and Canada) to protest eating chicken and fish. They would pull these stunts on the streets, while street kids were begging nearby.
Fish and chickens are the main source of protein for the poor here.
