The consequences of affirmative action job hires are starting to become more apparent. I guess the fart-left liberals would say they need another twenty dollar wage increase.

How many Boeing whistleblowers have to be murdered before this disaster stops?!

Let's stop the Boeing bashing. From the article:

The aircraft involved is a 23-year-old Boeing 777 plane, according to Airfleets Aviation.

This is getting old.

I’ve been one of Boeing’s - and the industry itself - greatest critics for years.

But unless the so-called ‘media’ chooses to report equally on ALL mechanical issues with ALL manufacturers & airlines, this is just clickbait, likely ranked by AI for number of clicks.

Thanks for keeping us informed about the latest Boeing “disaster”. I heard recently that one of the tires on a Boeing aircraft had low pressure that was caught right before it was scheduled to depart. If this had not been caught in time who knows what could have happened. The resulting tread wear could have caused the tire to have to be replaced weeks before its projected life had been reached.

Right???!!!

They’re finally getting some righteously deserved attention, but this ‘reporting’ is getting ridiculous.

Few details.

About half of all commercial jets flying are Boeing. Millions of parts flying in formation at hundreds of thousands of flight hours a year, things are going to break. It is a statistical certainty.

All of the handwringers need to get a grip and realize what news manipulation is..

“”Few details.””

That’s for sure. WHERE was the plane headed? If it was going to LAX anyway, why is it reported as an emergency landing. An emergency landing would have been somewhere other than their planned destination, wouldn’t it?

This is starting to seem more like outright sabotage / enemy action

This is starting to seem more like a coordinated campaign of coverage about anything and everything that can be twisted into negative nonsense about Boeing. Airplane flights are canceled, delayed or diverted every day because of maintenance issues. This is especially true on decades old aircraft that have flown who knows how many millions of miles without any mishaps.

I wouldn’t have believed that the 777 is that old but must be. Probably the older 737 has had fewer incidents than this plane has had....

A huge percentage of the commercial planes flying are Boeing so it is no surprise that any upward tick in problems will be associated with their planes.

Maybe it is indicative of a general downward trend in aviation maintenance. Others with more knowledge in this area may have ideas.

OMG!!!! It even arrived 9 minutes ahead of schedule. The horror! Maybe one of the aft galley coffee makers quit.

BTW - American Airlines had 5926 flights yesterday. There were a total of 99,920 flights yesterday. https://www.flightera.net/en/

I agree. Good post.

With thousands of flights a day, there have always been maintenance issues. If the Press reported them all, it will fill up more than the front page of the newspaper every day. The Press is grossly overreacting—and just groping for news.

Many so-called emergency landings are simply precautionary—with the pilot showing an over abundance of caution.

Yes, very possible. Even for folks (myself included) whose ears are constantly alert for media propaganda and spin, it shows how effective hyped and exaggerated headlines can be, particularly for issues one is not studying closely.

Yet another example of the effect of Biden-Obama deliberate misdirection of America’s economy. Cost-cutting and personnel shortages, I suspect, are behind these incidents.

Next a catastrophic failure in flight.

Biden will have left the airline industry in tatters.
