Dickie Betts and Dwayne Allman were connected somehow, cereberllaly. Two of the greats, now both gone. They played a big part in the sound track of my life. RIP Mr. Betts.

Damn! He was one of the few “noodlers” that I could listen to and enjoy. The guy was endlessly inventive playing the same seemingly few notes over and over. And forget the way he could build tension along a fifteen minute solo and release it at the end. RIP, Dude.

Sad news, what a great musician. He could play almost anything, there a video of him playing jazz. The Dickie Betts Scale! My mind going’s to the following….
Guitar Greats - Jessica - Dickey Betts - 11/12/1984 - Capitol Theatre

Just one more thing.
Didn’t Oakley and Duane Allman die in very similar bike accidents two years apart?
