I don't know how many FReepers get channel 13 WNET NY, but for those who do and are fans of the show it's on tonight at midnight eastern. Last night was the first I have heard that they are showing it again, I don't know when they started the run. Now all they have to do is get Dr. Who back on!

What is WNET's affiliation? Maybe their sister stations carry The Prisoner, too. I'm in Mass. and wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Thank goodness the Prisoner is being shown somewhere! The DVD release of the series is very, very good. Speaking of which, the DVD release is an A&E product; A&E should air it and help create a whole new generation of Prisoner enthusiasts.

It is PBS. I believe they are one of the larger public stations, since I see they help fund the production of many programs. My cable system over the years has carried different non-local PBS affiliates, so it would seem logical that others around the country would carry this one.

Thanks for the heads up. Sadly I don't get the channel, at least the last time I checked I didn't. Think I'll take another look.

It's my opinion TP is a MUST SEE for FReepers and conservatives in general, especially budding conservatives. When I first saw it in the mid 60's it put me on the "Right" road.

Now this IS wacky FR stuff:

I had that episode out from my beloved library just a few weeks ago.

X: What is it you want?

A: Information and amusement.

X: Who are you?

A: That would be telling.

FR!!!

When I first saw it in the mid 60's

I first saw it during the 80's, I was being made at the same time as the show. :-)
