An email joke I got last week -

A married couple went to the hospital to have their baby delivered.
Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that
would transfer a portion of the mother's labor pain to the FATHER.
He asked if they were willing to try it out. They were both very much
in favor of it.

The doctor set the pain transfer to 10% for starters, explaining that
even 10% was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced
before. But as the labor progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the

doctor to go ahead and bump it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the
machine to 20% pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine.
The doctor checked the husband's blood pressure and was amazed at how
well he was doing. At this point they decided to try for 50%. The
husband
continued to feel quite well.

Since the pain transfer was obviously helping out the wife considerably,

the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL of the pain to him.
The
wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain. She and her
husband
were ecstatic.

When they got home, the mailman was dead on the porch.

Do you already know whether it's a boy or a girl?

Nope, what kind of fun would that be?
I don't want to know what I'm getting for Christmas either!

Too cool. My wife would have beat me to death with that laptop, but this is fun!

Geesh, I hope it doesn't come to that.

An email joke I got last week -

Too funny, I read it to my wife and the nurse. They laughed a bunch!
The nurse wants to know where I'm getting the jokes from.

. Don't be fooled by all that grunting and sweating - it's all an act

You are a card general.
Funny, my wife didn't see the humor in it.

A story you might like:
The arrival of my 5th kid..(I'm the dad)....
1. Water broke. Took wife to hospital.
2. They took her in on strecher, I went to waiting room.
3. Sat down, picked up a book to read.
5. Immediately nurse arrived with baby, said you're new daugter.
6. Says me, No I just got here not 2 mins ago, wife just got in the labor room. Can't be me.
7. Nurse says, are you Mr. Hosepipe, I says, Yeah!, must be some mistake.
(sidenote)It was mine, baby still has blood on it. (/sidenote)
8. They would'nt let me see her till the next day. Gave her a sedative or something I don't remember (many years ago). SOooooo, I left, confused, remembering all those storys I'd heard about long hard labor.....

I didn't know what my first one was (a boy) and I did know what my second one was (a girl)

It was still fun.
Well, as much fun as 30 hours of labor can be.

My son recently informed me that by the time he gets married and has children I'll be dead.
I admit I'm no spring chicken but....
It wasn't my choice to wait 5 1/2 years before having another child.
Wife works 2nd shift and it's hard to find the time.

Search for a thread called my son's new underwear and it will explain how we found the time(I returned to work on Jan 10th 2002.)

When my wife was pregnant with our youngest child, she had a lot of problems with him being really "active" in the womb. He was always kicking her in the kidneys or bladder. When he finally arrived, the doctor showed us that he had managed to tie his umbilical cord into a twice through knot. Twelve years later, he has three state title wrestling medals
