Let's see how creative we can be in skewering or praising the latest events and the people involved in Limericks.

Here's my starting effort:

The acts of a frog named Chirac,
 Suspiciously favored Iraq.
To explain his actions quite funny,
 Just follow the money.
You'll find you're on the right track!

I know you can do better.

To: Swordmaker
There was a man named Bagdad Bob
Whose speeches would keep you agog!
When things got quite murky
 He took off for Turkey
And hid to avoid being flogged.

There once was a country named Iraq
Who had a leader we needed to attack
The US went in fast
Kicked saddam out on his ass
And proved france is all out of whack

    When media starts Bush attackin'
With liberal phlegm all a hackin'
Just pick up the box
And turn it to Fox
Sending brainless dem-cohorts a packin'
To: My back yard
There once was an idiot named Saddam
He met up with a US-stamped bomb
As he was a'dodgin
He was gettin' prayers from Tim Robbins
