Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Good Morning Students. Welcome to class!
Class is now in session. The rules are simple; you get a grade if you use the WFTD in a sentence, haiku, limerick, or quatrain. You get a "+" if you make a link, or make the teacher laugh, or you offer the appropriate bribes. I hold the grade book; the whip and chair.
Without objection, the Republicans and one Democratic senator approved a resolution to fine the lawmakers starting at $1,000 a day, and the fine would double for each day they miss the session. The fine is not to exceed $5,000 a day.
Oh well, now this is extremely sweet. Those damn chickens have run, acting like spoiled brats afraid to face something they don't like. Then, while the whiners are in NM, they cry because they can't be home with their loved ones, or that they are missing vacation, or any other such nonsense. Now, the Senate has levied a fine, and quite a nice one it looks like.
You know, I always thought that if the Dems ran, the Republicans would fold (they do have a tendency to do that on occasion), but now, the longer the dims stay gone, the madder the people get, and now, in Texas' inimitable way, we're going to fine the bejeesus out of them. What fun. And do you all see? The one lone democrat who stayed and is doing his job, approved the fine! LOL
Come home you chickensh&ts, do the job you were elected to do. Quit running, quit whining, and for goodness sake, sit your butts down and shut up!
(TX)Senators vote to fine absent Democrats
A fine against them.
Inimitable Style
Texas dims lose all!
