I don't do vanity post, but i am doing on exception now.

I have just gone through one of my worst days ever. Working as a business consultans I lost my jobs in the aftermath of 911. After Having gone over a year without a job, I finally succeded in getting employed as a salesman for a publisher of industry guides in Scandinavia.

However, my boss took to me to his office after work today and started asking me all sorts of questions....What do you think of America? What do you think of the jews? Bla bla bla... Then, he told me he was related in a direct line to Mohammed and was from some prominent Pakistani family.

Hw told me that when the US what hit the next time he was going to rejoice.

He even asked me, "Do you know that all of the worlds conflict involves muslims?" I thought to myself, that I had a pretty good idea, but that it was probably not the same thing he had in mind. Then he went, "It's because the jews and the Americans are pursuing Muslims all over the world relentlessy".......

Now...I cannot affort to loose this job, and while I wanted to have a go at my boss and just swallowed it and nodded and said nothing. I feel awful. My personal integrity went down the toilet... I guess the people who on here who says Scandinavian men have become spineless are right.

What would you have done?

Drop a dime on him anonymously to your own intelligence services. If you find that there may be good reason to believe he will act in concert with terrorists, and you have no confidence in your own government to take the threat seriously, make an anonymous call to the CIA or the FBI.

Start looking for a job. Now. Aggressively. Get out as soon as you can.

Then, send him "neener neener" emails every time we capture or dirt-nap another Islamist nutter. Send him a condolence flower bouquet the day that we find WMDs in Iraq, the day that Yassir Arafat dies, or the day that Osama bin Loser or Saddam Hussein finally turn up in our custody (preferably at cave temperature). And be sure to sign the card "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue." I know you're not in America, but he'll get the message.

And if you really think the guy is more than just a sympathizer, contact the authorities.

Practice reverse 'taqiyya.' Befriend him and maybe you can get some serious intel for the US Consolate or the Secret Service (notice I didn't say FBI).

Ask him how he is descended from the Holy Prophet. Mother or father's side? Makes a big difference. Is he sunni or shi'ite?

Get an digital recorder to carry and record his rants. It couldn't hurt if he takes action against you but make sure that doing so is legal. Even if it isn't, the American embassy (and CIA) in your country might have some interest in this nut.

Oh, and I'd avoid accessing Free Republic at work. If you have any IT weenies that like this guy, they can let him know what web sites you surf.

The funny thing is that uptil then, I really liked him (been working for him for 2 weeks(. I thought that if all muslims were like, what a jolly good world it would be..

The reason the worlds' conflicts all involve Muslims is because extremist Islam is trying to take over in each of those hot spots. It is extremist Islam that is the problem, not the West.

you have to afford to lose your job if you're going to do anything worth while. I know,easy to say, hard to do. If you won't/can't say what you feel, stay quiet and do your job.

I would at least tell him he has the right to say and feel those things here in the USA, even rejoice when we're attacked. But name one islamic country where you can speak against islam and not be punished.

I have to deal with this clashing of cultures all the time here in academia..........except from the other side. I manage a lab of foreigners that the Uber-Furher has hired that I have to get along with:

I have a Mainland Chicom student who says, "Boosh lies" all the time. You should have seen this little clown condemming Americans as spies during the surveillance plane broo-ha-ha 2 years back when we, "violated sacred Chinese airspace".

I have a South Korean who hates the fact that Americans are in HIS country, inciting and manipulating things against his poor NK brothers.

I have an arrogant Indian, who still thinks the sub-continents caste system applies here in the US to 'untouchable' white boys like myself.............and DON'T get him started on Blacks.

What really irritates me is how some of these people seem to think that the U.S. is community (i.e. "WORLD") property. WE are supposed to accomodate THEIR customs, beliefs, etc. Not the other way around. /off rant.

If you like the business, learn all you can and START YOUR OWN! Taking all his clients with you can't be that difficult.

Tell him you have a high 6-figure client that is a sure thing, but the client is Jewish.

Ask for a more money, a car and an expense account. What do you have to lose your going to leave anyway?

Take a side job with Mosad (Embassy of Israel) and enjoy the 007 life style.

Just think, you can have the car, more money, an expense account, learn Arabic, hang with Mosad (learning very cool things on the side) and finally after you boss incriminates himself after a few years, you take over the business!

Not really! I have to bite my tongue all the time around here. Believe me, being a Conservative AND a Nationalist (ie. NOT a Liberal, One-Worlder) in academia is not fun. {/my own rant}

Well, I know you're in the minority most of the time.

We went to a "support the troops" rally at the University here (of Alabama) which had been organized by some law students. One of the organizers said that he had been threatened with "investigation" by one of his law professors for organizing this rally. There were some professors carrying peace signs, accompanied by students sporting multiple piercings and multi-colored hair also at this rally, but, in at least this instance, they were outnumbered by supporters of the troops.

I wish! As I've said on these very cyber-pages in the past.......In a building of maybe 500 people, I can count the Conservatives on one hand. Charlottesville was one of the towns that voted against the war, and we just had Ted Rall give a talk here on HIS book tour.

One of the Chinese students I had working for me whose three years were 'up', and so was supposed to return to the glorious People's Republic never got on the plane and just disappeared into the woodwork. I could on............LOL
