In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....
gallant \Gal*lant"\, adjective, noun:
gallanted, gallanting, gallants; transitive and intransitive verb
gallantly; adverb
- Smartly or boldly stylish; dashing: a gallant feathered hat; cut a gallant figure at the coronation.
- Unflinching in battle or action; valiant: put up a gallant resistance to the attackers.
- Nobly or selflessly resolute: made a gallant attempt to save his friend's reputation.
- Stately; majestic.
- Courteously attentive especially to women; chivalrous.
- Flirtatious; amorous.
- A fashionable young man.
- A man courteously attentive to women.
- A woman's lover; a paramour
- To woo or pay court to (a lady).
- To play the gallant.
- To handle with grace or in a modish manner; Obscure
Courageous is generic, denoting an inward spirit which rises above fear; brave is more outward, marking a spirit which braves or defies danger; gallant rises still higher, denoting bravery on extraordinary occasions in a spirit of adventure. A courageous man is ready for battle; a brave man courts it; a gallant man dashes into the midst of the conflict.

I just prefer something that actually tastes like food.
the Problem with DD is you could take a bite of the Sunday paper, and not notice the difference if it were not for the abscence of frosting.

Not only does Roy Moore march gallantly against the left, he was born and raised in the small town of Gallant, Alabama, which is located in northwest Etowah County. Coincidently, my dear departed Granny was born and raised in that same community.

the entire problem with KK is the flavor of the grease. it honestly makes me hurl. it is grease saturated and the grease tastes BAD.
