Both Sides Now
Words & Music by Joni Mitchell
Sung by Judy Collins and Joni Mitchell
Parody by LonePalm
Whines and lines of painful prose, the kind to make you hold your nose.
And lib opinions that she chose, I've read Maureen that way.
But now she only mocks the son. She’s bitch and moan to everyone.
So many things might have been fun, but Dowd got in my way.
I've looked at Dowd from both sides now,
From left and right and still somehow,
It's Dowd's delusions I recall.
I really don't like Dowd, at all
Bill and Hill and Howard Dean the dizzy dancing way they preen.
The way they court each fairy queen, I think the left’s that way.
But now it's just another show, they leave me retching when they go.
And if you care don't let them know, don't give yourself away.
I've seen the left from both sides now,
From in and out, and still somehow,
The left's delusions I recall.
I really don't like libs, at all.
Tears and fears, they’re feeling proud. They shout, "Oh, f*** you" right out loud.
Dreams and schemes and Rent ‘a Crowds, I've looked at libs that way.
But now old reds are acting strange they shake their heads, they think we've changed
but something's lost but something's gained in counting every vote.
I've looked at libs from both sides now,
From win and lose and still somehow,
It's lib's delusions I recall.
I really don't like libs, at all.

Listen
Howard Dean
Howard Dean says he's running for President, and on paper he's quite a candidate.
He's the longest-serving Democratic governor. He signed the first law in the country to allow gay unions. And, he's got the endorsement of America's favorite president-that-isn't: Martin Sheen.
In real life, most Americans would pass Howard Dean on the street without a second glance. Can a candidate with just about zero national name-recognition actually make a viable run for the nation's highest office? Tonight, Howard Dean, the invisible candidate.
May I have some more sweet tea?

Of course, but you need some barbecue to go along with that!
