Ironically, the L.A. times smears on Ahnold has HELPED him. Voters are so angry about the smears that many who were undecided between Ahnold and McClintock will now vote for Ahnold.

It's Kalifornia. All bets are off. I'm stunned that the recall even passed!

I predict that Davis will retain his job. Bus convoy's are now massing at all state borders.

How long after Davis is defeated does he HAVE to leave office? I have a feeling that Davis will NOT go quietly into the night. Look for big legal battles ahead as Davis tries to use the court system to remain in office despite a bigtime defeat in the election.

I think McClintock will get less than 10% when all is said and done. Busta will get close to your number.

The recall by over 10%, Arnold by 5% or more. That's as close as I can get to a guess on this thing. Should be fun tomorrow. Can't wait to vote. :)

There is a fear of fraud expressed by several.

Are 7% and 10% fraud proof margins?

What happened to Cruz Bustamente?

He stunk in the debate. Maybe Arianna had a rolling pin in her lap and Butsa was scared. :) Then he just faded away. Davis also cut him off at the knees by campaigning hard the last week.

Yes on Recall: 54%

Governor:

Arnold: 36%
Busted: 32%
McClintock: 13%
Others: 19%

Just a SWAG. The LASlimes stinkbombs reduced the overall margin somewhat. Never underestimate the stupidity of the suckermoms and sheeple in general.

Still, in Rat-trending Kali, it will be a remarkable thing to get a Rat thrown out, even if a RINO gets in as his replacement. I'd have just as soon have thought the whole place would implode before they decided to get rid of a Rat.

Bookmark for future reference. Research IL, NJ, and TN under recent RINO rule in the past 5 years if you need any more projections on how CA will far under Arnold.

Change "Arnold" to "George (Pataki)" and all of your comments perfectly describe New York since Patakifeller came to power. Of course, many Freepers still defend King George, saying that if not for him "Hillary will run the state!"

Spitzer in 2006. That's a prediction, not an endorsement.

Reading between the lines for those desperate power hungry crooks this means it is not even close but they want to claim it as close so that they can steal the election though fraud

Gore's people said it was close and everyone at FR was laughing at them. Democrat last minute slime tactics work. That's why they're used. It's kind of like a football team that has a bruising fullback behind a huge offensive line. It's ugly but if you can't figure out how to stop it they'll keep doing it.

How long after Davis is defeated does he HAVE to leave office?

As soon as the votes are certified, Davis is out - all this talk about lawsuits contesting the results is just more empty blather. Depending on the margin (I think it will go 58-42, with Arnie at 45) and the pressure on the SoS, it could be as early as Tues night. This means Arnie could be sworn in the next morning at 9am to begin his work day.

At 9:30 he rescinds the car tax, at 10 he fires around 3,000 appointed commission/district heads (eg Steve Peace's wife, et al), and at 10:30 he announces an initiative to take away the drawing of district lines from the assembly.
