Where is the Kentucky Chapter?
Posted on 01/24/2004 12:02:24 PM PST by CourtneyLeigh
How do I locate the Free Republic Chapter of Kentucky? Just joined this website yesterday, and have skimmed through some threads and am learning alot. I've neglected myself and my state by not being properly informed on all details of politics, local issues, and the such. Now's my time to get involved, and I am really interested in more information on this Free Republic Chapter.
Any comments are welcomed. I hope this was the right place to post this thread.
Thank you!

Courtney,
Welcome to FR! From this page, click "My Comments" at the top or the bottom. Then, at the top, where you see
My Mail | My Comments | CourtneyLeigh
click your alias. That should get you in the ballpark for what you want to do. Look in Locale.

Thank you Lexinom, I really appreciate that. I posted there in my locale, hopefully someone there will fill me in on what this chapter stuff is all about.
My question is to the whereabouts in the state? Is this a physically, in the person, congregation of people? Or not?
Hope to see you in the posts!
Thank you again!

The only person I know in the flesh is my mom, MontN :-)
If you're a conservative, you're going to enjoy it here. There's a broad range of issues and intelligent discussion. You've already found out you can post your own stuff. Jim Robinson (FR Founder and President) has created something remarkable that enables conservatives to communicate in a way never before possible.
There are few rude folks, but that's not the norm in my short experience.

I echo the previous comments. Welcome to FR. Glad to have other fellow conservatives in this forum.
Words of advice: Have thick skin and be open minded when you post/read. Sometimes people's intentions do not come across very well in writing. Give people the benefit of the doubt...and don't take anything personally. Some people on this board are passionate about their positions and will come across very strongly. Stick to your guns and be flexible. All-in-all...a great group of people.
Welcome!!!!
