After accepting our donations and helping in his re-election, our Senator Art Mayo switched from a Republican to a Democrat on Tuesday. Please vote option 4 in this online poll of our local paper. Sen. Mayo always consorted with the Democrats to our annoyance but he could have changed before the election and allowed us to run a true Republican against him. Of course, his lack of ethics is in character with the rest of his new party members. We are calling for the Senator to resign and call for a new election.

Poll is over now...Thanks to all who helped out. The newspaper isn't posting the results of the poll because the data was skewed from people packing it. They are more concerned now with finding out why people would want to pack an internet poll instead of taking the Senator to task for defrauding the electorate. We are putting pressure on the Senator but I doubt he will resign. Thanks again
