Should read: N.C. State outplays Va. Tech, but commits way too many untimely penalties and turnovers.
But hey, we'll take ugly victories, too! :-)
ROFLMSS!!!!!!! You guys are funny :)
You folks all have a lovely day...we're heading for the Moose Lodge, where we are turning our community BBQ/picnic/potluck into a hurricane relief fund raiser.
If you need any votes from Texas, mine is cheap.

2005 Sweepstakes: These Voters Support Kaine
Letters to the Editor
These Voters are Idiots.
Thanks for your help filling the tractor trailer going to Biloxi.
They left Sunday with a full load and $4,000 in cash!
God Bless!
Glad I could help. That's great news.
I don't watch much TV but I was flipping channels last night when I saw the first campaign commercial I have seen this season. It was for Kaine and was typical - 2 mentions of tax cuts, not one mention of the fact that he is a Dem.
Of course he's not going to mention he's a Dem. And he's lying about his "tax cuts."
I don't know these folks, but this is my home county:
Six Giles County children die in Mich. house explosion
Cause of the blast is unclear, but family suspects a gas leak
Kaine accuses Kilgore of being soft on 'meth'

by Tyler Whitley
Timothy M. Kaine, the Democratic nominee for governor, yesterday rolled out a radio commercial pelting Jerry W. Kilgore with his own words for opposing the state's latest crackdown on a highly addictive drug sweeping the Republican's home region.
Time is running out. What have you done for your candidate today?
Only if leather was involved.

by Tyler Whitley
Democratic leaders and House of Delegates candidates pledged yesterday to fight any Republican attempts to roll back public-service investments that Gov. Mark R. Warner made in the 2004 General Assembly.
Thanks for all the updates!
You're welcome. How's school?
Governor hopefuls on stage, but apart
Kaine, Kilgore, Potts speak, take questions at Alexandria event
by Paul Bradley
ALEXANDRIA -- The three men vying to become Virginia's next governor were in the same room and on the same stage yesterday, just not at the same time.
"Well, actually, we didn't have a deficit," Kilgore said. "Our Virginia budget has grown year in and year out. We just, at the end of his administration, weren't meeting the revenue expectations. It was not a deficit at that point."
Gee, where have I heard that before? Say it again Jerry, LOUDER this time. There was NEVER a budget deficit.
NEVER.
GOP to seek eavesdropping money from insurer Sept. 22
A hearing has been set for Sept. 22 in the Republican Party of Virginia's lawsuit saying its insurance company should have covered what the party paid to settle the legal case arising from eavesdropping on two phone calls among Democratic legislators.
For the life of me, I'll never understand why they couldn't have this postponed until January 16...
CAMPAIGN SPOT WATCH: KILGORE AD
I saw this while I was at the gym this morning. It's a great ad, but I'm really hoping it was the TV that needed a color adjustment. That's all I'm sayin'.
Driving for the NASCAR vote
Kilgore to sponsor car at Martinsville; Kaine plans RIR fundraiser
Going after the NASCAR vote, Republican gubernatorial candidate Jerry W. Kilgore will sponsor a car in the Oct. 23 Nextel Cup Subway 500 at Martinsvillle Speedway.
The difference here is that Jerry Kilgore knew what NASCAR was before he started running for office.
