This is great! Not only did Blackwell endorse a candidate well before the primary, but he advertised the endorsement on his own campaign website. IMHO, this reflects well on both Blackwell and Jordan.

Now, if only Bob Taft would resign.

Cool, yah, that does show a lot of confedence on both their parts.

Here's hoping we win. Blackwell for Governor '06 = Blackwell for President in '12 or possibly even VP in '08.

It's amazing to me that politicians that are so pathetic as Taft insist on serving out their terms. What do they hope to accomplish? Is it purely for the paycheck?

Not likely, as the Taft family is wealthy. In all liklihood, it's an ego issue.

In general when one is elected to a position he should serve out the full term.

I tend to think with some pols, if those that give them a positive approval rating could hold a convention in a phone booth, it's time to step aside. Taft does no one, but the 'Rats, any favors remaining in office at this point.

Hey, I saw Blackwell on television. This man is impressive! Think he'll be elected governor of Ohio? More and more it's looking like Ohio may be the spiritual keystone of America.
