Okay, we are going to just come out and say this: Todd Palin is a stone cold fox

Is it wrong to have a serious crush on the “First Dude” of Alaska and the future Second Gentleman of the United States? Because if crushing on Todd Palin is wrong, then man, we do not want to be right.

We just want to listen to him talk about snowmachines and huskies and hockey for hours and hours and hours.

When we met him in St. Louis the weekend of Palin’s announcement as VP, we couldn’t even talk, we just kind of giggled and stared and the only thought in our head was TODD. TODD. Oh, it was stupefying…and it made the 8 hour ride down from Chicago totally worth it.

And now we’re Mapquesting how long it would take to get to Maine, because Todd Palin’s being dispatched to campaign there. He’s just so DREAMY. And Maine’s so lovely this time of year. All the more lovely because TODD is there.

VIA BostonHerald

"PORTLAND, Maine - Todd Palin, husband of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is coming to Maine to campaign for John McCain.

Palin will appear on Saturday will appear at a barbecue at the Moosehead Trail Trading Post in Palmyra on Saturday afternoon, according to the McCain campaign. Doors open at 2 p.m.

Palin will appear at another barbecue at noon on Sunday at Harry’s Motor Sports in Presque Isle.

The McCain campaign announced last week it was putting more resources into Maine, particularly in the state’s 2nd Congressional District. Maine is one of two state’s that splits its electoral votes by congressional district, and the McCain campaign is hopeful of coming away with at least one electoral vote on Election Day."

Oh I would understand that because I’m originally from the midwest. But I live in CA now. They don’t need a goatee for common sense like zero tempatures. Here it’s just a male fad.

It isn’t just his looks - even though they qualify him for total hunk status. It’s also who he is, the snowmachine racer who finished a race with a broken arm, a man who knows how to live off the land, built their house himself with help from his friends, supports his wife in her career, a man who is a loving father. He’s the real deal. They are an amazing and beautiful family.

He really is something out of a romance novel.

Remember Garrett Morris’ “Chico Ezquela” routine? “Beze-ball.... has been berry, berry goot - to me!” I always thought that was the funniest part of the show.
