I mentioned yesterday that you probably don't see many McCain yard signs, not because he lacks support, but because people don't want to have to put up with this:
Twenty-five residents of a Gainesville neighborhood woke up this morning to discover their homes had been spray-painted with an obscene comment about the 2008 presidential race. Several businesses were hit as well.
“This is clear voter intimidation,” Corey A. Stewart, At-Large Chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, said. “The residents targeted by these hoodlums all had McCain for President yard signs in their front yards.”
“Having your home defaced with obscenity because of political beliefs is a hate crime” Stewart said, “This is terrorizing the community.”
“Voter intimidation will not be tolerated in Prince William County. The residents notified the police. I am asking our Commonwealth’s Attorney to investigate. I will seek state and federal investigations as well. Prince William County must be safe for freedom of speech. If we can catch the reprobate who did this, we’ll prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.”
Stewart added: “We’ve had ACORN and other nuts kicking around down here in Prince William for weeks. I suppose this was bound to happen eventually. But we won’t stand for it.”

I been driving around in a mostly Blue State. Funny thing hardly any Obama signs or bumper stickers and their are no McCain bumper stickers.

According to RPD....47 cars tires were slashed at the Palin Rally the other day!!! Of course....this was not reported by the Reno Gazette Urinal .....
I’ve noticed here in California that the vandalism is ONLY on the Yes on Prop. 8 signs. I have yet to see a No on Prop. 8 sign defaced in any way.
An earlier post had some of the disgusting, vile photos.
We had a yard sign but I moved it to a “generic” corner for this reason. We have a small “McCain/Palin” sticker on our cars but avoid Minority areas.
Yes we have been intimidated. This is not the America I want.

not to mention New York when that bipedal disaster David Dinkins was in charge — riots in Crown Heights almost straight away, and the oonly observation that well-tailored fraud would make was that the Apple’s black neighborhoods needed to “vent their rage.”
We all hope McCain pulls this off. We should all be thinking of the blacklash if he does.
... and maybe even if Big Ears wins. Don’t they riot in Chicago even when the Bulls win?
This just strengthens our resolve! We CANNOT allow these thugs to take control!! This kind of thing will happen on a regular basis to people who don’t succumb. Be sure to be locked and loaded election night.
I had two McCain yard signs destroyed two days ago.
I’m sure it was Barry’s religion of peace supporters just trying to show me the light.
We don’t have a yard sign, but do have a couple of bumperstickers on our truck. I was trying to figure out why some kids were not coming here for trick or treating. Finally realized it was probably the parents not allowing them to after seeing the back of the vehicle. lol Saves me some candy!
This is just the beginning folks. Prepare to defend yourself. The abuse and attacks get much worse as they consolidate their power.
