I hate to say I told you so, but "I told you so!" Chavez is mear childs play compared to Obama.

Just go to the Library of Congress and search for it. It’s there. I don’t know why I can’t link to it.
This guy has tried this for years. But there hasn’t been a Democrat President and Democrat House and Senate majority either. So it just might go through.
Exactly. We can’t let it. This is looking more and more like Hugo Chavez every day......
Exactly. Combine the interstate voting compact with the push for dumping presidential term limits and we have the makings of a permanent democrat majority under Lord Zero for life.
Those who laugh it off on unconstitutional grounds should wake the hell up. It wasn’t exactly constitutional for government to seize and run companies but they did it anyway.
Laws and resolutions are one thing, and the socialists can certainly make things difficult by shutting out conservatives and republicans, but an amendment to the Constitution has to be passed by both houses of Congress and then be ratified by 3/4 of the states. I don’t think that the socialists could get 38 states to ratify. This safeguard to our Constitution isn’t a popularity item, even the sparcely populated states get an equal vote.
not a chance........the founders rigged the constitution so that amendments could not be put in willy nilly...case in point, since the constitution and bill of rights was written, over 20,000 amendments have been proposed. Only 27 have made it all the way...odds are better to be hit by lightning
There are ways to get this passed by 3/4ths majority. All you have to do is pit classes against each other. Already happening. A Major effort to discredit conservatives by making them malitant enemies of the state. Already happening. Need I say more?
Read the Constitution. Such an amendment would require the votes of two-thirds the members in both houses and three-quarters of the state legislatures. My considered opinion is that the odds of such an amendment being ratified in my life time hovers somewhere between zilch point sh*t and none.
Obama is already working on that......
We need more people to review every Congressmen’s voting rcords and vote accordingly. We can not allow the media to pick and choose what information we are given.
Perhaps. But changes to the constitution must be approved by 2/3 of the STATES. With Texas declaring sovereignty and lots of other states with sovereignty bills going through that's not likely going to happen.
With that said its still time to lock and load and keep your powder dry that this is even being considered.
Correction: make that 2/3 of CONGRESS and 3/4 of STATES.
Not hard to do when you make the opposition look like thugs.
