Sean Salazar seans@sean4senate.com
Dr. Sean Salazar brings a fresh approach in serving the citizens of WA State. His desire to bring change arises from his humble background to his current occupation. Having run for Congress once before, Sean understands the practicality of campaigns and politics. Being a Chiropractic Doctor, he undersands the needs to deliver quality and affordable healthcare. His background as a military veteran with overseas service provides a perspective of national security coupled with quality education.
As one of five children raised by a single mother and growing up in several of Seattles low income housing projects, Sean experienced the several degrees of welfare and inner city poverty. It was during those formative years that Sean developed an understanding of the needs of Americans living under challenging circumstances.
Well, he shows himself with all those Republican officials in that slide show, and he ran as a Republican in the CA 53 - so there’s not real mystery. However Rossi polled that in this weird state, calling onself a Republican vs. GOP costs you something like 6 or 7 points in the polls. That said, who cares about the polls in the long term - we need to deliver a consistent conservative message, whether we’re Republicans or some fiscally conservative coalition 3rd party - and the polls will take care of themselves. This is a long term battle we’re facing - but Reagan, for instance, delivered the conservative message well. That said, the left still (tried to) demonize him and his cabinet. Not quite as bad as the Bush derangement syndrome, but it was pretty bad during the Iran-Contra deal - if you recall.

Sure - we nominate a conservative, I’ll vote for him, and then Patty Murray wins. I know the drill.
Whether he will win or not will depend on King County of course and how close the votes are.
we have to start somewhere....
