Sarah Palin was in God's Country last night, preaching "revolution" to the Arkansas GOP in exchange for $100,000 or so. The party also gave her an engraved .44-magnum rifle. So that's what you get the quitter who has everything.
The Arkansas Republican Party was happy to allow press coverage of Palin's speech, but she overruled them, so the only accounts we have are from reporters' notes. The Arkansas Times took a statistical approach:
Number of African-Americans in attendance: 4.
Mentions of President Obama: 1.
Times Palin mentioned the Republican Party in her speech: 1.
Wal-Mart: 7.
We have no idea what that meansmaybe Palin hopes Wal-Mart stores will serve as supply depots for partisans in the coming revolution. From local station KTHV:
"I think our country is ready for another revolution and this one can take place at the ballot box in 2010 in a town near you," Palin told a crowd of about 5,000 people at Verizon Arena in downtown North Little Rock.
And if the ballot box fails, the Arkansas GOP got Plan B rolling by presenting Palin with a $2,000 .44-magnum rifle engraved with her name. (Though in an unforgivable faux pax, the party picked a gun that was manufactured in New Jersey, a known outpost of fake America.)
The event raised $400,000 for the state Republican Party. Palin's fee wasn't disclosed, but her going rate is $100,000 per appearance.

I’m with you, my first thought was brand, action type etc.:)I wish I could get a speaking fee of a .44 mag rifle, I have always wanted a .44 mag carbine and should have bought one when Ruger was selling their carbine.
If its made in Jersey, doesnt that mean it’s one of those nice Henry repeaters?
that model, unengraved, goes for $600 or thereabouts.
Love wanted one of those for a long time.
Well I think you may be right after all. Company HQ but the guns make in Brooklyn? At least they used to be.

And yet.... YOU responded! ;^P
Has anyone read the replies on that site? They think the military will protect them if there is a revolution and of course, they repeat the “we won” mantra. Koolaid is flowing fast and free over there.
Nope, I commented...at least for me, a response would normally take form in responding to various points or arguments the author makes...this one was too lame to bother...but I did expect someone to comment.
Is that the street price?
On their website, the Big Boy is about $900 and the Big Boy deluxe is 2 grand. For an extra $50 you can get one of those large loop levers (The Rifleman/Chuck Connors style).
Response: This ploy is slowly losing its impact. What is the left going to do when it becomes obvious that no one cares?
Agreed. I got my C&R and my first purchases were a couple of 60 year old Commie pistols (Czechoslovakian, and Romanian copy of a Russian).
I consider them to be very patriotic purchases—capitalist Americans buying the remains of Soviet liquidation sales at deep discounts.
Glad I didn't let you down! You are right though and I am wrong.
You just commented but I couldn't resist having a poke at you. It was all in fun though!
Cheers!
I’ve thought about the C&R for such purchases, but I’ve always thought that I really don’t want to send the BATF a form, etc. DIRECTLY that has my information on it. THe Form 4473s, at least for now, stay with the gunshop dealer...(and I keep praying they lose them is a fire).

Rugar made some fine stuff in the earlies, I had a few of their pistols.
Pretty useless rifle in Alaska. I guess if you had a bunch of extra ammo for your girlfriend’s sidearm you could use it for plinking, or hang it above the fireplace for all the outsiders to gawk at when they come up in the summer.
What is this gawker one speaks of????
What if she charged a million? What possible difference does it make? Now we trash people for speaking fees? Or we only trash Republicans for them.
More insane drivel from the Gay Mafia media.
Normal people don't have any such complaints about Palin.
