Sarah Palin: The MSM’s Unquechable Curiosity Reserved for O’Donnell, Not Obama
Death by a Thousand Papercuts ^ | September 25, 2010 | Mondo Frazier

Observation of the Day

Sarah Palin wonders: Gee, where was the same curiosity the MSM is displaying about Christine O’Donnell during 2008? Barack Obama has still not released records all other presidents have made public and the MSM has shown a decided indifference in asking any questions. Which would be curious–except that in 2010, everyone knows that’s how the MSM rolls.

“Funny . . . That we are learning more about Christine O’Donnell and her college years, her teenage years, her financial dealings than anybody ever even bothered to ask about Barack Hussein Obama as a candidate and now as our president.” –Sarah Palin

The same Mainstream Media that exhibited a decided indifference about Barack Obama’s medical, university, college and other records has been busy digging into Christine O’Donnell’s years-old views on masturbation.

Palin: Why No Probe of Barack ‘Hussein’ Obama?

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin alleges that the media has a blatant double standard, shining intense scrutiny on GOP Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell while turning a blind eye to then-candidate Barack Obama’s personal history in the 2008 campaign.

During an interview with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren Wednesday night, Palin said: “Funny . . . That we are learning more about Christine O’Donnell and her college years, her teenage years, her financial dealings than anybody ever even bothered to ask about Barack Hussein Obama as a candidate and now as our president.”

There were no questions asked during the disgraceful Mainstream Media coverage of the 2008 election because the Media was too busy digging through dumpsters in Wasilla, Alaska, for dirt on the Republican VP nominee.

Oh, and attacking any sources which did ask inconvenient questions about the MSM’s Messiah.

Palin alludes to a “double standard.” It’s not. It’s blatant content management and it no longer is very effective because it’s been so transparent for so long, Americans give the same respect to the New York Times‘ political opinions as they did the Weekly World News.

Thank heavens the Mainstream Media is dying.

May it be slow, protracted and painful.

Just like the damage they’ve inflicted on objective journalism during the last 50 years.

Oops! Mistake, fixed below:

I disagree. It’s NOT that Steele, Rove, Krauthammer etc don’t know the MSM is the propaganda arm of leftists.

And now it turns out thanks to 2ndDivisionVet that Krauthammer at least is just a regular leftists! Why is he even considered conservative at all? What little I’ve read from him is just slush crap anyway.

W had to account for his daily attendance in the NG. I say Hussein should account for his attendance in a college classroom.

I agree with you. But to be able to get this done, here is what I just posted:

I guess I can understand why Beck, Limbaugh etc don't want to discuss the place of birth issue, but why on earth aren't they demanding college records?? That is not “crazy” or “wacky”. We all remember when the MSM demanded Bush's and then Kerry begrudgingly produced his and he was a worse student than Bush!

And O’Donnell wouldn’t have any problem filling a 600-seat hall, either.

“That would be sensible in some respects, but I don’t think that’s what they want. They want Marxism/socialism to win at all costs, and any time it appears to be losing they will unfailingly attack anyone appearing to be remotely conservative”

Your assuming that these people have such powers. In social psychology we use a term called better-than-average effect to explain such rhetoric. Individuals such as Rove and Krauthammer are intelligent people. But when discredited and shown to be wrong, They rebel and use excuses as their intelligence and insight is questioned. Everyone suffers from this phenomenon, as everyone thinks they are better, smarter, more ethical, better looking, healthier and so on then the average person. It’s not their fault, It’s human nature. Think of it as a baseball team who loses and questions the umpire for the result, and the baseball team who wins and congratulates themselves for being superior than the other team. Same thing.

Krauthammer and Rove are no more insightful than you and I. They just think they are. <-———Self-Serving Bias

Unfortunately O’Donnell is providing the ammunition herself. Nobody has to do any digging.

Do you really think that a senior in high school or a twenty-something on a third-rate cable TV talk show really anticipated being a US Senate candidate many years later or are you just being obtuse?

Probably not, any more that Coons thought he'd be running for Senate when he shot his mouth off about marxism. But she did appear on the show making those comments, and people like Maher are using them. Her financial blunders are a matter of record, and her opponents are using them. Coons and his campaign will take advantage of anything they can, just as O'Donnell's campaign would if the situation was reversed.

Late making a payment? Is that what you call it when universities and mortgage companies have to sue in order to get their money?

Who thought we had to have “quotes” around “Hussein”? Isn’t that the man’s middle name?

You could put quotes around his whole name. "Barack" is the name of Mohammad's magical flying horse. "Hussein" is the name of Mohammad's grandson. "Obama" is Swahili for Osama which was Mohammad's favorite general. He changed his name from Barry Soetoro for some reason. Any guesses why?

Money was tight. Ummm O’Donnell answered the questions do you know what that answer was? Or more like it that you’re getting your talking points from Commie Coons and Harry Reid’s pet rat.
