In a press release issued this afternoon, Patty Murray's campaign criticizes challenger Dino Rossi for what the campaign portrays as an attack on public workers, including troops, teachers and firefighters.
"In an offensive and bald attempt to continue to smear his way to victory, 18 year politician Dino Rossi this morning insulted millions of Americans troops and others who serve their country," the release states. It also includes in the headline what the campaign claims to be a direct quote from Rossi's appearance on conservative talker Laura Ingraham's show: "American Troops, Teachers, Firefighters 'Have Never Held a Meaningful Job In Their Adult Lives.' "
But the audio file that was sent along with the press release shows that Ingraham asked Rossi about the business background of the White House staff, specifically advisers to President Obama. Rossi says of those people: "Well, you have a bunch of people that are in charge that have never actually had a private sector job, and a meaningful one, in their adult lives."
Rossi isn't talking about all public sector workers. And the reference to "a meaningful one" doesn't appear to be a claim that only business jobs are meaningful. Instead he appears to be saying that no one among Obama advisers has held a meaningful business job.

She’s losin it.
Certainly not meaningful in relation to the jobs and responsibilities they have now.
The Dems make wild statements like that all the time on the floor of the Senate and House.
they make wild statements and they get away with it.....
Sounds like exactly the sort of malicious and obviously dishonest attack that Washington voters fall for in every election cycle.
They get away with it because nobody has the ojones. Remember Representative Schmidt (R-OH) being shouted down for reading a letter denouncing RATs. NOBODY defended her!
The chief tactic of the far left is the “Big Lie”, accompanied by hysterical shouting. Non-stop talking over an opponent helps plant the “Big Lie” deeply.
We must remember that LIBs are the enemy who want to kill the men, rape the women and sell the children into slavery.
lil ole patty doesn’t have a meaningful relationship with truth honor or integrity.

There was another lying ad about Rossi for Patty on FNC earlier this a.m. I wrote down the name of the group that sponsored the ad: Citizens for Strength and Security Action Fund.
I just did a search on bing.com (I won’t use google) and openscrets was one of the entries. Here are the donations listed to the’Action Fund’ in 2008 and 2010.
2010:
To name a few: SEIU $800K; Communication Workers of America $400k; Democratic Governors Assoc $100k; Foundation for Patients Rights $250k

2008:
Patriot Majority $600k; SEIU $220k; UFCW $1.1M

Sen. Elizabeth Dole (R-NC) might be curious who is funding an attack ad blaming her for job losses, especially now when she’s increasingly in danger losing her own job.
All the ad said was “Paid for by Citizens for Strength and Security.” Turns out the citizens are unions.
According to a new government filing, the group’s ad was funded by the Service Employees International Union ($220,000), the Communications Workers of America ($200,000) and the Patriot Majority Fund ($280,000). Patriot Majority itself is funded mainly by labor unions.
Patriot Majority is, like Citizens for Strength and Security, a 527 organization run by a Democratic operative with ads targeting Senate races. Why not just merge?

You know something...I never in my life thought I would enjoy watching folks totally destroyed by their own words.
Never...
I don’t hate anyone, but I’m relishing in their self destruction because they have tried to destroy the country I love.
You know what they say about “paybacks”.
I’m so sorry...I meant to ping you to the above post.
God love you for living there.
It’s just a tad worse than here. ;o)
