Democrats in Cleveland will get a political twofer later this month: a joint campaign appearance by President Obama and his wife, Michelle.
The first couple will visit the city on Oct. 17 to stump for Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, who is in a tough race for re-election against John R. Kasich, a former Republican congressman. On Monday, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. was in Youngstown headlining a rally and fundraiser for the Democratic governor.
The Cleveland visit will mark the first time the Obamas have campaigned together in this election cycle...

“What’d Ted Strickland ever do to them?”
Will he be there? I didn’t think he was THAT stupid ... well ...
Obama needs NE Ohio’s dead voters like I don’t know what. He goes there every month or so, it seems like.
I wonder if they’ll have to pay people to show up.
Sounds like blacks aren’t planning to show up on election day. It’s panic time for the ‘Rats.
If it didn’t work in NJ, MA, or nearly any other state, why do they think it will work in OH?
Oh, that’s right, he’s an arrogant POS.
Amazing how he went from filling stadiums during the campaign to a dozen or so showing up in somebody’s back yard.
...the albatross takes flight,again
Too little, too late. It's already over.
by joint appearance, do they mean obama will be sitting back smoking a fatty in his calypso hat. taking planted questions and asking for money?
Sucks to be them. Lebron bolted that loser state, that just shows you how bad the state is.
Has anybody ever seen Obama actually do any WORK?
Appearance here, appearance there... yada, yada, yada
You mean the Republicans don’t have to plug in the Cheney Diebold machine to win?/s
Tell Strickland Obama’s comin’
He’s finally on his own.
November I hear the drumming
No Dems in Ohio.
Gotta get down to it.
Kasich is coming around,
Should have been done long ago.
High unemployment,
No good jobs to be found
It’s time for Teddy to go.
La la-la-la la la la la
No dems in Ohio
(with apologies to CSNY)
Well, I see they are sending Moochelle along with BHO. BHO’s approval rating in Ohio is lower than dirt and would only serve to hurt Strickland. This won’t work either; the results of this election are cast in stone.
Let's Go Jackets! (LeBron isn't fit to carry Rick Nash's puck bag.)
LOL! In Houston they're so afraid that they burned all the voting machines.
I propose we keep track of everybody who obama and palin stump for, then compare the results.
Isn't that team run by a guy who gave so much money to Baraq that they made him ambassador to Ireland?
