Well, kind of a slippery slope however, if it is to be applied, it will need to be applied to both sides equally.

B.S. in my humble opinion.

If a law is required to protect federal officials outside of what we have for the people in the first place then "WE THE PEOPLE" as dictated via the constitution is no longer valid. JMO

No official of government should have ANY law devoted to them that isn't applied to all PERIOD.

When we crossed that line, then we start working for government instead of government working for us.

Yes, your humble opinion is probably more realistic than mine, but I think we’ll already there. Congress has special privileges and benefits that aren’t recognized by the Constitution and it continues to move in that direction. The surest and most obvious form of our freedoms being lost is the continued taxation (and fees) “creep” at all levels; Federal, State, County, City, etc. When you add up all the taxes and fees you pay, not only on income, but on real estate, utilities, phones, sales taxes, car tags, etc. you probably pay more than 50% of your income in all kinds of taxes and fees. They take, take, take and .... a revolution is still brewing, no matter what the bubble dwellers in D.C. think, on either side of the aisle. It needs to trickle down to the state and local level as well, they’re just as bad.
