She's been the "most prominent Republican" since the day she was picked by John McCain and lifted him in the polls. She's been going head-to-head against Mr. Obama since that day.

It’s not “presidential-esque” Mr. Ambinder. The word you’re searching for is PRESIDENTIAL full stop.

She's been going head-to-head against Mr. Obama since that day. And she's been dead-on in her critiques.
She seems to be able to simplify otherwise obscure situations (e.g., death panels). Remarkable woman, remarkable person.
And beautiful, to boot.

That’s why the LSM keeps going after her...they KNOW she’s the best.

I doubt that Obama will be able to measure up to Sarah’s message about Tucson. The TOTUS will need to be at warp 5 for him to compete with Ms Palin’s comments.

Barry’s big “make or break” speech will be tonight. His political career is going to hinge on whether he can come across as a great uniter. At least that’s what the “media” has been saying.

I have little doubt that she will be a very successful candidate in the 2012 Republican Presidential Primaries.

It was a remarkable speech IMO and the timing was brilliant.
And what have we heard from the other presidential hopefulls? Oh yes, Pawlenty said he wouldn’t have used that bullseye map.

She was Presidential. The time has come to increase the rhetoric. Pump up the volume of the depiction of these liberals as parasites and moochers. DO NOT TONE DOWN!! TONE UP!!!

I agree, she was great. In sad, but related news Charles Krauthammer once again made a total fool of himself tonight after throwing a hissy fit over this. I can only assume he wishes Mitt Romney or Mitch Daniels had been accused of being an accessory to murder.

Let’s compare Sarah Palin’s character and behavior to Hussein’s.
Just this evening it was revealed that Hussein is giving FREE T-SHIRTS out at the “Thriving” EVENT (that should be “solemn funeral” but dems can’t help themselves).
Free funeral t-shirts.
That’s Hussein.
FUNERAL FAIL, ZERO!!!
To: chickadee
Which is why it was smart to release her statement prior to his speech. Now he has to measure up. If she had done it after, it would be no less remarkable, but could appear in response to his.
To: FlingWingFlyer
If Obama’s speech falls flat tonight, aside from updates on the Congresswoman's health this whole story will disappear fast. Bet on it.

“Its not presidential-esque Mr. Ambinder. The word youre searching for is PRESIDENTIAL full stop.”
If a conservative said that about a liberal woman the feminazis would castrate him with a rusty can opener. He is making an oblique reference to her statue-esque figure. BTW, there is nothing wrong with the fact the Palin takes care of herself and has a great body.

I know, that is SO bizarre? T-shirts? At a funeral?
Idiots!

Better than anyone else I’ve heard on the matter. Although I did enjoy Jonah Goldberg’s brevity in calling the proposed speech legislation ‘sand-poundingly stupid.’

Sarah Palin has been the most presidential-esque Republican since Reagan. That’s why the elites hate her. They’re jealous.
