Karl Rove Now Openly Mocking Palin…
Weasel Zippers ^ | February 28, 2011

Rove represents the worst of the elitist GOP establishment.

Via NY Mag

…One week before the 2010 midterm elections, Rove took aim at Sarah Palin, questioning the wisdom of her appearance on a reality show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, if she really wanted to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate. Palin lacked the “gravitas” to be president, went a subhead in the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph.

Rove later tried wriggling out of his comments, as well as observations he made in a German magazine that tea-partiers weren’t “sophisticated,” being unfamiliar, as Rove was, with intellectuals like the economist Friedrich August von Hayek. But Rove’s backhands weren’t accidental, nor was he the victim of outrageous tabloid reporting. When I bring up his statements about Palin during our interview, Rove says only that he wished he’d made his comments on Fox News instead—before going into a withering impersonation of Palin, recalling a scene from her TV show in which she’s fishing.

“Did you see that?” he says, adopting a high, sniveling Palin accent: “‘Holy crap! That fish hit my thigh! It hurts!’”

“How does that make us comfortable seeing her in the Oval Office?” he asks, disgusted. “You know—‘Holy crap, Putin said something ugly!’”

Someone should advise Rove to blow his nose before he goes on the air. He makes me sick just listening to his sniveling voice.

And as a political “architect” he’s been a proven loser.

It's pretty obvious Rove is suffering from some very serious mental deterioration.

I give him no more than 3 months (June 1) and he will no longer be asked to speak in public.

It’s hard to believe in this day and age... but there really *is* a GOP elite who believe that We The People are ignorant, unwashed masses and that they, and they alone, know what’s best for us. They and only they have the connections, the education, the intelligence, and, yes, the *financial* resources to Run This Country in the Way It Is Supposed To Be Run.

These elites believe that running the USA is their BIRTHRIGHT.

Karl Rove is one of their enablers. Smart enough to be one of them, but not wealthy enough or handsome enough, and not a member of the right bloodline.

But Karl is valuable and reliable enough to have a seat at their table (when invited, of course). It’s a mutually acceptable arrangement.

And so, DAMNED if he wants to see a bright, capable, popular upstart like Sarah Palin ROB HIS ELITES of what is RIGHTFULLY THEIRS! Which would coincidentally put Karl out in the cold as well.

He’d sooner die than see that happen.

Yes....there are a few Freepers who say that the media is taking Karls quotes ‘out of context’ and trying to stir things up....I have no doubt that the MSM would like to tie up a fight involving Karl, the Tea Party and Sarah.

But Roves own words and snipping are clear and to confused them with being taken out of context is grasping at straws.

Karl is tied with the Establishment

Palin is not a member of the ruling elite and they HATE her for daring to pretend that just anyone can be president.

Your premise is incorrect. I wouldn't give Rove credit when Palin wins.

You can support Rove just as you might support any other “Republican”, such as McCain, Graham, Specter, etc.

Whoever thought Christine O’Donnell should be a senator deserved to have their faces rubbed in it.

Wow. It's one thing to hate the guy, but entirely another to ignore his achievements.

The GOP wants Romney to be the nominee. I figured out the GOP elitists a long time ago..at first I couldn’t figure out how come they were sucking up to Obama then I figured it out..they think if they kiss his behind some of his supporters will vote Republican in 2012, if they actually believe that they are bigger fools then I thought

Rove had his boy in the white house for eight years. He has virtually nothing to show for it other than the Obama Presidency.

My premise is that a) Christine O’Donnell lost all on her own (lack of) merits. b) Blaming Rove for her defeat was the kind of denial we seem to see a lot of these days. c) When Palin loses, the same people will be similarly unable to face the facts, and will be looking for scapegoats.

C’mon folks, we are having huge load of problems. We need someone who is more experienced than sarah palin. You guys will label every other candidate as RINO. Ok fine, if it is going to palin, just let everyone know and atleast we can start converting her huge negatives into positive. Just suddenly in 2012 all her negatives are not going to disappear. Start now!

"Go Mitt. Go Mitt. Go Mitt."

"Rove is pushing Romney so aggressively some folks are beginning to wonder what's going on," grumbled one veteran Republican strategist."

"Rove has made no secret of his support for Romney as McCain's VP. "

Romney has thrown Elections 2008 and 2010 to the DNC when he can.

In 2008, the McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts. in some polls, days prior to the election.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney once again
had his backstabbing TeamROMNEY
attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008 to the DNC.

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

"Frum was indeed a critic of Palin, calling her nomination a "huge mistake" during an October 13 (2008, weeks before the election) Early Show appearance."

David Frum: "Two of our most plausible candidates for president in 2012 are leading Mormons: Mitt Romney and Utah governor Jon Huntsman."

David Frum: "I have a lot of regard for Mitt Romney as a man and politician… I will support him without qualm."

Kathleen Parker: "[I]t is increasingly clear that Palin is a problem." "Parker ... says something publicly that many of us have thought privately
but lacked the courage to say out loud - Palin should step down:"

"Kathleen Parker: After Interviews, Palin Should Bow Out"

Kathleen Parker: "Romney would bring more than squeaky clean qualifications
and youthful good looks to the ticket.
Romney would seem a logical choice."

"Parker: Romney raised bar on freedoms"
Kathleen Parker: "If Kennedy's speech was an important landmark in American political history,
Romney's was surpassing. With heartfelt humility and poetic eloquence,
he tracked the nation's struggle with and for freedom."

Staggering bigotry of Kathleen Parker - UPDATED"

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

It is increasingly difficult to distinguish Rove from Carville with respect to electoral punditry, i.e., they both favor big government types.

Personally, I can't stomach listening to either one of those two ruling class political professionals.
