While some potential Republican presidential candidates have criticized President Barack Obamas decision not to release photos of Osama bin Laden's dead body, presumed frontrunner Mitt Romney agrees with the president.
"It's best not to release the photo because it has the potential to incite retaliatory violence against Americans," Romney said in a statement to Politico.
That was the same point made by Obama....

Obama allowed al Qaeda to be able to choose if Osama bin Ladin was going to be a Martyr or the Islamist version of D. B. Cooper.
After Obama left the ball in their court, al Qaeda made their choice and Osama is now officially a Martyr.
A death photo would provide al Qaeda an object of veneration. Now that al Qaeda has chosen the Martyr route, it is best to deny it to them and I have to side with Obama's current position.
Stopped clock .... Twice a day ..... Blind squirrel ...... Nuts ...
Now, back to the Obama Self Veneration:
“I want to see the picture just to piss idiots off.”
I don’t give a damn what any person who is not entering this race thinks. He is nothing special at all.
I don’t care about photos anymore, I want fighters who are willing to put their money where their mouth is.
Romney can go to.....
I for one am not going to hold my nose and step into the balloting box as if I were carrying a soiled diaper.
No more, "You have to vote for us or Democrats will be in charge." At some point politicians are so comprimised that they no longer represent us. I feel like I don't have a government at times.
Mitt is a wussy. Hope he’s not the presidential nominee cause I’m not voting for him. Period. May as well just sit back folks and prepare for another four years of “obama-the-idiot” remaining in the White House. Pathetic world we live in. Really sad.
When I say "object of veneration", this is an historical exmple of what I mean:
The Blood Flag (Blutfahne)
The Blutfahne (Blood flag) was a Nazi Swastika flag which was used in the attempted Nazi Beer Hall Putsch in Munich, Germany on 9 November 1923 and one of the most revered objects of the German Nazi Party. The flag was actually that of the 5th SA Sturm that was covered in blood from members of the Nazi Party who had been shot by the Munich Police (primarily from party member Andreas Bauriedl who fell on top of the flag when he was shot and killed).
He’s a non-starter PUKE.
“Hes another McCain.”
All the establishment, party insiders are another McCain. That’s why we need candidates like Palin and Cain.
Some people are more out to get Obama than they are to protect our troops. We need not provide any bloody flag.
Romney wants to be O’s running mate for the next re-election campaign.
So did Oliver North.
Mitt “Me too” strikes again.
Mitt, unless we are all idiots, we don’t need to bother appeasing the nutjobs out there. These guys produce propaganda, it’s their hobby. They can produce however many excuses they wish for what they do, even if these photos didn’t ever get released, they would still hate us. It’s one thing when a guy is a RINO, but it’s far worse when the guy has little to no spine for dealing with the reality of what has happened. It’s history. Just because the Holocaust was offensive and gruesome didn’t mean that we didn’t have to see that. We got to see people falling and burning from the World Trade Center as well. Hey, we also had the documentation of Saddam getting caught, his sons pumped full of lead, and himself getting hanged, what’s any different. Even moreso is the fact that the world acknowledges that bin Laden is in fact, dead, if you released the photos, it’s not as if they didn’t already know he was killed by a bullet, or the compound raided, etc.
As for terrorism, it’s a fact of life that we will have it with us, so we’re going to have to learn how to have a spine for the foreseeable future.
