Palin ruling out Bachmann nod?
The Politico ^ | July 10, 2011 | Jonathan Martin

Posted on 07/10/2011 10:26:39 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Sarah Palin may have been making the case for herself with a Facebook post last night arguing that a president must be "a strong chief executive [who] has been entrusted with real authority in the past and has achieved a proven track record of positive measurable accomplishments."

But she also sounds an awful lot like Tim Pawlenty, whose indictment against Michele Bachmann is that three-term member of Congress gives a good speech but hasn't actually accomplished anything.

Wrote Palin: "Leaders are expected to give good speeches, but leadership is so much more than oratory. Real leadership requires deeds even more than words."

Gee Jonathan,

I think she was slamming O’Bama...not Bachmann or any of the other GOP hopefuls.

They are just trying to create a cat fight. No fight, because it is NO CONTEST. Sarah beats Michele hands down.

Give up her strategic advantage, or man up, reach down and adjust her jock strap, spit, and wade into the fray?

Ronald Reagan didn't declare until November, 1979.

Would you have advised Ronald Reagan to "man up" in July?

How many successful political campaigns have you managed?

Please tell me how Gov. Palin (admittedly not a candidate at this time) has bent over for the democrats.

Lots of us do wish she’d either ‘poop’ or get off the pot, tho.

To accommodate your timeline? Your convenience? Your life? Why don't you volunteer to be her campaign manager and work for free?

Sounds like Sarah’s talking about Obama, who is the person the Republicans need to defeat.

It is Politico so consider the source.

In this case, FRiend, it is OK. Look at the last sentence of the excerpt again.

Wrote Palin: "Leaders are expected to give good speeches, but leadership is so much more than oratory. Real leadership requires deeds even more than words."

Then reconsider The Undefeated.

Palin is a doer of deeds, not a mere reader of screeds.

It's all good.

Cheers!

“When I say no I mean maybe, or maybe I mean yes” begins to grate, and the nuanced advantage of the undeclared, possible candidate being able to sometimes speak out of both sides of her mouth begins to fade.

Sarah hasn't said "No", she's only said she hasn't decided. We wouldn't even know that if folks didn't continue to ask her. If she runs, I'll support her, if she doesn't, I'll look more closely at the available candidates before the primary occurs in MA.

[ Please tell me how Gov. Palin (admittedly not a candidate at this time) has bent over for the democrats. ]

Re-read my last post, the one you referenced... I didn’t say that..
I said the opposite of that.. about Bachmann..
But then Palin and Bachmann are on the same page politically..

BOTH are highly conservative.. with few differences.. on major issues..
More importantly they are both supported by the TpCaucus..

When it comes to the possibility of competing with Sarah Palin. The Palin haters like Polutico are truly “Running Scared” that the American people might choose her over Obama.

Heck with the troublemakers at Politico. In the end, each of these ladies would prefer each other over that flop earred Marxist Obama.

Plus, leaders don’t take 2nd banana - it is too frustrating/non-productive. Also, she has invested too much time, energy, and family to take the second spot. She is a winner, not an also-ran.

Of course Politico would never even think Palin might have been talking about Obama. Idiots.

The MSM so wants a fight between these women and they’re not getting it so they decide to make it up. It’s so obvious who Palin was referring to and it wasn’t any republican running for president.

Bingo. Sarah has already ran "2nd" and saw what a mess that turned out to be. This time she will be #1.....and win (I do hope she grabs West as VP).
