Karl Rove Coming to Albuquerque to Stump for Heather Wilson (RINO to RINO)

Karl Rove, a political strategist who served as an adviser to President George W. Bush, will headline a fundraiser for New Mexico Senate candidate Heather Wilson on Aug. 11 in Albuquerque.
Wilson, a Republican who previously represented an Albuquerque-based district in Congress, announced Rove’s visit earlier today. Other details weren’t immediately released.

The senate seat is being vacated by the retirement of Jeff Bingaman. Besides Wilson, the primary will include Lt. Gov. John Sanchez and Las Cruces businessman Greg Sowards. Sanchez announced for the seat almost as soon he dropped his hand from being sworn in as Lt. Gov. Sowards lost the primary for the NM2 congressional seat vacated by Steve Pearce in 2008 (Pearce lost to Tom Udall for senate in 2008 but won it back in 2010. I doubt he will run for it again.)
None of these folks excite me but the pragmatic side says we need to get the seat back and Wilson may have the best chance with name recognition in ABQ and SF area.

As a New Mexican in exile, I remember the nickname we had for Ms. Wilson- FEATHER WILSON....
Feather just want to go back to real home in Washington, D.C.

Come on people! We nominated the conservative bald headed guy the last time and we lost. Heather Wilson is better than any Democrat. New Mexico is a purple state. Nuff said.
