Per Ben Smith at Politico:
@benpolitico Ben Smith
Perry said just now, per WHO Radios ag reporter, that he supports a safety net of subsidies or tax breaks...for corn farmers.

Y’all may find this bit of breaking news interesting...
Pandering politicians...ugh. Thanks for the ping.
I've become friends with a few local farmers....They work their butts off. I'll take a less strenuous/risky job any day.
Ben Smith, isn’t he a Romney supporter? He’s always sticking up for Romney and even referred to Trump as “the new Palin”.
No, WHO's agricultural reporter who asked Perry the question and got his reply.
I stopped reading Ben Smith’s stuff after he called Sarah Palin “scary” and wrote hit pieces on Tea Party candidates such as Bachmann and Perry while appearing to be a Mitt Romney apologist. He is no friend of the Tea Party, Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann or Sarah Palin.
Not surprising at all. Texan version of Mitt.
Of course he does. I’d be surprised if he didn’t.
Liberals, Paulbots and RINO’s all hate Mr. Perry. Hmmmm, I wonder why? Even Slick Willy has jumped into the fray against Perry..something has them spooked.
So you are FOR farm subsidies?
Ha! Liberals and RINO’s don’t like him because they think he transparently uses the name of God for votes, Paulbots because he’s a big-government crony capitalist. Romney’s simply a competitor for votes.
Yes, they are marking who they want us to nominate. They know how to play this game. Regarding Perry, perhaps they are protesting too much. Who are they really frightened of?
Funny, I haven’t seen his private emails hacked, his kids lied about and mocked, or his church burned.
Yep that pretty much sums it up. Or in other words just the same ole big government style politician.
“I’ll take Pandering Politicians for $100, Alex.”
