Rick Santorums bid for the Republican presidential nomination is not going well. While rivals such as Rep. Michele Bachmann, Texas Gov. Rick Perry and now businessman Herman Cain enjoy bursts of popularity, the former Pennsylvania senator cant seem to get his campaign out of the gate.
Endorsements from leading Republicans say, Sarah Palin - would certainly help. Her being out of the race and potentially getting involved in a campaign with somebody else could be a big lift, Santorum said on ABCs Top Line.
Wed like your endorsement by the way, he joked, staring straight to the camera.
Palin labeled Santorum a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal in February. Santorum called it a misunderstanding and said there is no problem between he and the former Alaskan governor. Santorum is not running in place like Jon Huntsman, but its unclear when his moment will come? His national poll numbers remain low, although the candidate says he does not pay any attention to the dismal numbers....

Rick, it’s a smart move but Sarah don’t seem to make a habit of backing losers.
The desperate at work...begging for an injection to their wasted campaign => Santorum. The non-desperate will simply phone her up and lend her their perfunctory acknowledgement to her embarrassing flailing for relevance, so as not to irritate her cult whom she unceremoniously dumped over FINALLY. What baby kissing and other irrelevancies politicians must be seen doing to smooth their path and not rock the boat of voters. Ick.

Sarah will be witholding her “endorsement” until the winner is set in order to ensure her brand and be seen as mattering.
I saw and listened to Sen. Santorum at the Values Voters Summit today. He’s a good man. I wish he could get traction.
Do you think it is just anti-PA feeling regarding Santorum? PA hasn’t had a president since James Buchanan. I don’t see how his backing for now Democrat Specter in 2004 is the cause, because most voters don’t know about “inside baseball,” as they call political details. Obviously Specter is not among his endorsers.
Ditto. I would vote for him if he gained more traction. Would you believe that this guy went to the same H.S. as I did. Carmel Catholic H.S. in Mundelein, IL. That is just one of the reasons I would like to see him gain traction, but if it isn’t there, it isn’t there.
From what I’ve seen so far, Santorum doesn’t have a clue what these ‘Occupy’ protests are about. That says a lot right there.
NYC might have something serious going on. DC doesn't. What a freaking joke the whole lot of them are.
I haven’t a clue why he can’t get traction. He looks great, he speaks well, he’s scary smart, and he comes across genuinely and deeply conservative. Has a great family (I sat near his daughter Elizabeth out in the foyer at one point). What’s the problem? I just don’t know.
I think he is a good man too. I’m considering Cain, Newt, and Santorum - no one else (since Sarah is out).
Santorum would make a better president than Mitt and Perry.
This is my theory, as well, but I may be wrong. If she backs the winner, she may get a position in an administration.
If I believed a word you just typed, I would tell you to seek help because you’re nuts.
Gov. Palin didn’t betray you or us and to say she can rot in hell just makes you appear immature and hateful.
Let time and His plan for Governor Palin unfold, patriot.
Keep your powder dry.
Does Santorum need traction? Yep.
A modest suggestion: at the next GOP debate, he should “call out” the Liberal media. They’ll cover him then—if only to denounce him. And he’ll give conservatives a chance to notice him.
