I want Cain for president. His 999 will be worked out. I don’t career politicians in DC.

Cain has a significant record of positive achievements. A president seldom gets what he wants. Remember it’s Congress that ultimately writes the legislation. The 9 9 9 plan will go through some changes. That Cain has tackled one of the most difficult problems facing this country and is willing to speak out when a true politician equivocates, speaks volumes.

Cain is the right man at a critical time for this country. The last thing we need now is a politician who knows how to get along by going along. Congress is going to be in the unenviable position of facing someone who won’t hesitate to take them to the woodshed if they don’t shape up.

When you study how many are coming out against Cain, you can tell Cain threatens the status quo that got us into this situation. Cain, to his credit, is not a person who will muddle through. He’s going to hold a lot of feet to the fire.

A person who succeeds in business ethically, he’ll likely be an ethical politician.

People tend to be consistent in their behaviour.

If it attacks his candidacy for the right reasons, absolutely. The sooner the GOP electorate wises up, the better.

People not experienced with the details of the Left’s insane agenda and their legislative tricks, are easy prey because it “sounds” good.

Only experience permits a president to project the consequences of action down the road on how it will used against the country as it is implemented by leftists.

For example, Palin was taken in by the horrid speech of military funeral protesters and supported a state's “hate speech” laws that forbade them to protest military funerals.

In a moment of emotionally driven tunnel vision, she did not see that if the Supreme Court upheld this state law, she would soon be a target of “hate speech” laws enacted by leftists all over the country and in the Federal government.

A leader has to have had the experience in National politics and law to understand how the left’s “camel nose under the tent” operates and project where it will go. Cain is a walking talking victim, waiting to happen in this sense. On the other hand, you would have to get up pretty early in the morning to trick Newt of Perry. Romney would gladly use this strategy against the US and our constitution as he did in Massachusetts.

Why keep harping on his tax plan. It hasn’t got a snowvballs chance i hell of passing anyway.

Maybe we should just keep Obama’a plan and go on borrowing and robbing the hard working 53%,until we go bankrupt and collapse.
Yes: Tax those oil companies and raise the price of fuel, that will work
Yes ;Tax those corporations and raise the cost of their products. That works great too.

Take away the rich mans incentive to make more money so that he either moves to another country or quits making money. That will work too.

Elect John J. Gahootinbollock if we have to , but get this lunatic ,Narcissist, Racist ,Mutt out of the White House.

I think a lot of people on our side are trying to be cute thinking that:

- Anyone we put up is the automatic winner in November.
- Romney isnt running this year.
- You have just a wonderful selection of choices waiting in the background. YOU DONT.

So my suggestions to the conservative electorate is to get behind someone NOW, stop trying to write everything to death and remember that the mission is to get rid of Obama not to feel 100% ok with the conservative nominee.

Nice thoughts and legit concerns on his experience.

But your options at this point are:
Vote for someone you know has been corrupted by the current establishment

or

Vote for the outsider who has not been corrupted but there is possibility he may be.

That is why I was supporter of Palin, She has proved she will stand firm on her values, but it may be easier in Alaska then Washington

You love anything that attacks Perry and can make an attack on Perry where one doesn't exist, so I guess you can dish it out but can't take it!

Why should you have a monopoly on attacks?

"9 9 9"

The rate's too damn high!

I think the real opposition to Cain amongst certain FReepers has less to do with positions and more to do with skin.
