Republican presidential candidate nomination open until Karl Rove decides

EUGENE, Ore. – The man known as “Bush’s Brain,” still wields massive power in the Republican Party today -- and is prominently featured on hand-made signs as “the antichrist” by Occupy protesters here in Eugene and nationwide – while it’s no surprise that Karl Rove’s nickname is “the decider” by those who run the GOP inner circle.

After serving as President George W. Bush’s “Senior Advisor,” deputy chief of staff, personal secrets keeper and “the president’s right and left hand” in all matters of decision making – state numerous political analysts who’ve watched Rove’s rise to power in America and the Republican Party – the question now is who will Rove decide should run against President Obama. In turn, it's Rove, of course, that experts say is now pulling the strings for the Republican run for the White House in 2012. For example, a bestseller that reveals the massive power of Rove, states how he ran the country under former President Bush. "If you want to understand the President’s underlying motives, read the new book on his guru, Karl Rove, Bush’s Brain,” explained Al Hunt for the Wall Street Journal, in praise of the book “Bush’s Brain” -- that became an international bestseller after exposing Rove as “the decider” of who will run for the White House in 2012.

In turn, this influential Republican has harsh words for the “Occupy Wall Street” protesters, calling them “a group of nuts and lunatics,” stated a recent New York Magazine report that profiled Rove as one of the most powerful political leaders in the world.

New York Magazine also noted how “Dick Cheney, for one, remains angry at Bush for failing to pardon Scooter Libby — the former adviser who was convicted of perjury in the Valerie Plame-CIA leak case. Karl Rove himself was implicated, but never charged, and did not mention the Libby pardon in his recent memoir. But he comes clean to Hagan that he "supported Bush's decision to let Libby hang." He adds that he still considers Libby a "close friend."

Rove called more powerful than Nixon’s Kissinger

He’s one of the most powerful men on the planet, quipped media in London recently while sharing the news that “Rove didn’t like Sarah Palin, so she’s out of the race for America’s president.” In turn, political analysts say it will be Rove and not voters in the Republican presidential primaries who will “decide” if it’s either former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney or surging Newt Gingrich who will run against President Obama in the race for the White House in 2012.

In turn, Rove, as a FOX News contributor – who also guest hosts on the ultra-conservative and infamous program, “The Rush Limbaugh Show” – gets to tell his political base almost daily on TV, radio and the Internet who’s in the running for the GOP nomination; while other savvy political brains say “Rove already knows who he’ll put forward for the nomination.”

After all, say Democratic leaders who despise Rove for his power on Capitol Hill, “Rove is the key adviser to ‘American Crossroads” – a cultist Republican “527 organization” that’s already raised “billions” in campaign “war chest” for the Republican National Committee.

“I dare say there’s nobody more powerful in the Republican National Committee (the center of GOP power) than Karl Rove. He’s even more connected that Richard Nixon’s former right-hand man Henry Kissinger,” explained an “Occupy” protester in Eugene named Isaac Howard who’s done “extensive research” on the rise of “Rove in American politics.”

“History will look back on this period of American history, and Karl Rove will be that guy behind Bush and now behind Romney. Make no mistake that Rove will get Romney into the White House and, I’m sure Republicans will agree, that his right hand will be Rove because he’s the kingmaker in our nation today with tens of billions and more connections than anyone could imagine,” added Howard while pointing to how Rove “got out of big trouble with Congress when experts thought he was cooked for his dirty tricks.”

In turn, Howard points to his Freedom of Information documents that point to a July 7 and July 30, 2009 House Judiciary Committee testimony by Rove about the “dismissal of seven U.S. Attorneys who questioned their loyalty to the Bush Administration (run by Rove), and were fired.”

“What’s crazy is the House Judiciary Committee (made up in part of Rove Republicans) concluded that Karl Rove ‘had played a significant role in the attorney firings,’ but was not charged or even reprimanded. There are other references – thousands of them – with people in high places of government mentioning Rove’s name as if he was a prince or something. He’s that close to the heart of this ‘committee’ that not only runs the Republican Party, but the key corporations that run the world as well. He is that powerful,” explains Howard.

In fact, a recent Republican fund raising produced letter – that features a photo of Laura Bush with her hands around Rove and former President Bush in tow, and asking for money “to defeat Obama” -- made its way into the hands of an “Occupy Eugene” protester Howard who now uses the letter as “an example that Rove is still in power even while Bush is gone.”

Bush’s Brain exposes Rove as the power in the GOP White House

“Many Washington insiders believe that the strength of the Bush machine lies not in its leader but in Karl Rove, the man who picked Bush to run for Governor of Texas, tutored him on the workings of government, and ran brilliant yet brutal campaigns that would eventually sweep Bush into the Presidency,” states a marketing pitch for the book “Bush’s Brain” that’s featured on the Portland, Oregon, website for powells.com, a top book store in Portland.

“In Bush's Brain readers will enter the powerful world of White House Senior Advisor Karl Rove and learn how this man created George W. Bush and continues to keep him on top. Political journalists James Moore and Wayne Slater offer a rare glimpse into the man who has become the single most important advisor to George W. Bush — and the person who many think is calling the shots at the White House. They also discuss how Rove's strategic decisions seem to be determining U.S. policy for the Bush administration, including the now fatal decision to back away from Mideast negotiations. This intriguing book also features previously unreported information on the Bush campaign — from the primaries and the conventions to the fall general election and the complex relationship Rove and Bush currently share,” adds the marketing overview for the international bestseller “Bush’s Brain.”

“Karl Rove is both feared and admired by Republicans and Democrats alike. His take no prisoners approach to politics has received mixed reviews and left everyone wondering — who's really running this country? In Bush's Brain readers will learn who the real Karl Rove is and just how much power he really has,” the news release for the bestseller “Bush’s Brain” states.

Rove still the GOP kingmaker

Karl Christian Rove, who was born on Christmas Day in 1950, not only served as former President George W. Bush’s Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff, but he also headed the key government Office of Political Affairs, and the Office of Public Liaison and even the White House Office of Strategic Initiatives.

“What we have here with Rove is a man who was given the keys to the kingdom that is the power of the U.S. government because he simply was in charge of every key area of decision making. This Rove had more titles and key top government positions for the eight years that he served as ‘Bush’s Brain,’ than anyone ever in the history of this country. Rove was the White House under Bush, and today he still has all those connections and all that power,” adds Howard of his research that he notes is on public record, but “Rove is skilled at flying under the radar. He’s that guy who’s in the background pulling the strings.”

Moreover, it’s no secret that prior to his rise to power the Bush White House; Rove was the “key” Republican political consultant and strategist for the entire GOP, state Republican Party records.

Rove has been publicly credited with the successful 1994 and 1998 Texas gubernatorial victories of George W. Bush, as well as Bush’s 2000 and 2004 successful presidential campaigns.

For his 2004 presidential victory speech, Bush referred to Rove as “the Architect.”

For all the power that Bush apparently ceded to Karl Rove - why did Rove never go on the attack against the media?

He was a panty-waist - just keeping his options open to be a media pundit.

We were all ‘taken in’ by Rove’s vaunted brain - and sadly, so was George Bush - a decent man and a patriot.

Never again. Let’s put our own ‘brain’ in at the top and damn the torpedoes.

I think Rove’s power if over rated. The real power brokers in the republican party stay out of the news.

Rove's decisions led to the debacle that was the 2008 elections and the rise of the Democrats and Obama. Rove has been a key player in the destruction of our Country. I have nothing but contempt for him.

Miss Meghan has a hard time picking items off of the menu. She solves that by getting one of everything.

No he doesn't. This is just more of the manufactured PR pushed by Rove and his acolytes.

He seems to have been bested by Rick Perry in their home state, which seems like a good recommendation for Perry under the circumstances, given that Perry was heavily influnced by him when Perry became a Republican. It seems to indicate that Perry can best a powerful estalishment insider when he sets his mind to it.

Rove is like a second-rate coach, who after his team makes an incredible play despite not running the one he called, tells himself that he’s brilliant.

It's exceedingly obvious that Rove has already decided, as the leading rep of the GOP establishment, that it is, indeed, Romney's turn.

He is on Fox News several times per day attacking all of the other candidates, but never has an unkind word for Mitt.

Yeah, Rove is such a brilliant conservative that he was able to accomplish virtually nothing for conservatives.
