JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) -- Sarah Palin says it's not too late for someone to jump into the Republican presidential race.

Asked by Fox Business Network about the likelihood that she'd become a candidate, the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee said it's not too late for "folks" to jump in. Said Palin: "Who knows what will happen in the future."(continued)

That one is a PDSer.

Others on other threads are calling her an “attention & political whore.” Goes with their “feelings” of male superiority and their pitiful personal lives.

Perhaps people could spend their time on people who are running. Palin hasn’t a prayer. Had she jumped in and worked her way to the top, she might be on top.

She won’t get the nomination by doing nothing and shopping reality shows on the side.

Makes her seem an opportunist.

Too late, there are filing deadlines.

Pardon my French, but Screw the Damn Filings.

If it going to be a deadlock, and go to the Convention, someone throw her name in @ the Deadlocked Convention and have her address the crowd.

It would be their last chance at redemption before the Republic Implodes....

Again I am tired of voting of the evil of two lessers.

I can hold my nose for Newt, but that is about it. If it ain't Newt, I write in Sarah.

“too late.. the others put in their time and effort.. I would actively campaign against anyone who thought they could just ride in now and take something they didn’t work for”

Stupidest post of the day.

Sarah, stop teasing us.

You know what they call girls like you in high school Sarah? D*^k Teasers!

Now go do what you are best suited for now, support the conservative you want to win, or write another book or something.

Whatever you do, Please, Please, Quit rubbing my leg with your hand while whispering sweet political things in my ear.

So just stop, stop, STOP ALREADY, Please?

I am too weak to take it any longer!

Sarcasm I sense but you have no idea what is in my heart so don’t judge me without knowing me. You bet I am concerned about Sarah and her family but it is their choice regarding her political aspirations.

interesting idea. If there is deadlock, I’m not sure if that would help the situation or make it worse. It would definitely make it interesting.

I believe you have something there. She has had time enough and opportunities enough. She has no intention of running and she has enough respect for the process to know her time has come and gone.

It's way too late for that to happen, since most of the deadlines for having a candidacy listed and established have gone by.

The Delegates, etc, just won't be available. Why you keep on bringing this Pipe dream up is almost pathological.

I hear what you’re saying, and the ghost of Ross Perot does linger in the back of my mind, but there is a possible window if Newt gets knocked back considerably and if Paul gains more traction.

Parsing it carefully — yes I’m nitpicking — but Sarah did not drop out of the race because she never announced her candidacy to begin with. The McGinniss book rocked her back, but if (after talking it over with her family) she decides that whatever damage it was capable of doing has already been done, she might conclude that the time is right for a Hail Mary pass.

It would be a hell of a gamble, but she’s the only person I can think of that would be able to excite the tea party now that Cain is out. Compared to Newt, she’s a saint. Santorum is not going to get any more traction than he already has. Mitt, discussed ad infinitum.

Apparently there are a number of people on the other side that consider the possibility of a Palin candidacy a serious threat because anti-Sarah cartoons and articles are once again working their way into the media.

Bottom line, if she jumps in, I’ll support her.

Her reality series failed to get picked up.

Was it actually a reality show she had planned?

It was my perception that the television program was to be an educationally-oriented documentary similar in style to "The Undefeated", albeit with the focus on Todd Palin.

If someone isn’t nominated on the first round at the convention, all bets are off, IIRC.

You know better than that. When was the last time a brokered convention ever took place, and what were the reasons?

I hardly doubt that there won't be a nomination in the first round. Romney, Romney and perhaps Romney will probably win, simply on the grounds of attrition. Since the rest of the Brain dead, so called “base” has assassinated and ruined every viable candidate to date.

The Republican Establishment has already chosen Mitt Romney as the designated gentleman loser against Obama for this cycle. Everybody else can go to the back of the line and re-apply in 2016. It doesn’t matter that NOT A SINGLE VOTE HAS YET BEEN CAST - this is how it’s going to be.

(Sarcasm, sarcasm...)

Palin’s got my vote. Write-in or otherwise. None of the sad parade of statist RINO wanna-bes purporting to be candidates are worth a used kleenex. Bachman and Santorum have no chance.

So - hypothetically, if a true, solid, and very likable Conservative came out of the woodwork to stand up in the place of the horrible slate of options currently out there - you would ignore him for spite? Maybe we need such a candidate, since the idiots in the supposed “lead” now are so bad.

And no, I’m not saying Sarah is the right one to do this...
