Glenn Beck

Posted on 01/29/2012 6:35:42 AM PST by MSGT1

Why is Glenn Beck lying to destroy Newt?? Glenn has voiced support for Santorum while his actions are pushing Mitt. On his propaganda page the blaze in one day he had 14 hit pieces on Newt, 9 puff pieces on Mitt and 2 stories mentioning Santorum {one of those could be considered negative}. The amount of dishonesty in those articles and his radio show is mind boggling. Glenn is abusing the trust people have placed in him and trying to get the most liberal candidate the nomination.

Newt was surging in Iowa so Glenn went scorched earth and by catching people by surprise, they fell back on their trust for Beck and gave Iowa to Santorum. By the time South Carolina rolled around people were seeing through Beck and Newt won. Going into Fl. Newt pulling ahead and Beck having used up his trust the baton was passed to Drudge and down goes Newt again.

Now why would Glenn do that?? Could it be as simple as this?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Horse_Prophecy

Breitbart was right and we could have saved a lot of grief had we listened to him. Glenn Beck hasn't been telling us what he was for but outright lying and attacking Newt and anyone that backs Newt. Beck is willing to destroy the election process using Alinsky tactics to get Mittens in. We have been had.

My goal isn't to flame but to cause thought. I know Beck has fans and I know he has FOLLOWERS. Followers can't be reasoned with. Man has a need for God and many times and for many reasons people try to deify other men. I suggest they draw closer to the real God.

I can lead you to knowledge but I can't make you think. I hope you take this and carefully consider this post. Accept it or dismiss it, it's cool. I expect some of you will not and will lash out. Let the games begin..

The Mormon cult saved him from alcoholism and he believes he owes it his life. His entire spiritual message is built around Mormonism.

Pray for America

Better take a humility pill dude. This is Free Republic. It can be a bumpy ride for the newbie without a cause.

Wilsonian, FDR, ethics violations, everything Beck has said

I'm a big Newtie. But it's Newt his own self who called himself a "realpolitik Wilsonian.

It's Newt his own self who said repeatedly that FDR was the greatest President of the 20th centure.

The ethics violations charge is thrown about by all the media talking heads.

Newt has done a poor job of reminding people that he was hounded out of office by RATS filing one baseless charge after another and he was run out of town on a rail by spineless Republicans. You can't blame Beck for that.

But, just for the sake of argument, I'll give you that one. What else you got? What other lies has Beck been telling about Newt?

We are about to nominate Romney...a liberal Democrat to head our nation’s conservative party.

Just don’t tell anyone. No one in the media, nor GOP insiders seems to care. As long as Romney keeps the K Street gravy train going...how many trillions would a President Romney add to the debt?

BTW...it’s not being reported much...but India has agreed with Iran to stop trading in US dollars for oil. Both countries will only use gold.

Biggest story of the week that no one knows. Obama and Romney are taking the country down.

Just don’t tell the media.

Dismissed. Cool.

Beck is out for one thing, and one thing only: Himself.

That anyone thinks Beck is someone to be looked to for guidance in deciding for whom to vote is utterly ridiculous.

This is very serious.....if his religion comes up in a major way (and it will-the dems have no qualms about it) the we will be toast. What happens when Obama is leading 60 to 40 percent over a guy the bible belt considers too ‘out there’? Does Newt then jump in 3rd party? I am seriously scared that the GOP is not taking his faith and the Bible belt’s eventual reaction to it seriously.

Nice catch. For a newbie, he (or she) certainly has the vernacular down.

I've heard there are people out there being paid to infiltrate sites like this one.

Nice job, soldier.

Take him away.

You’re fooling yourself if you think it won’t come up in hit pieces in the general election.

Oh, is it EVER going to come up in the general! From the left, certainly, but the antics of the Romney/GOP-e cabal will probably make for a two-front problem for the LDS. Anything from the right will likely be too cartoonish and therefore tut-tutted about in the MSM, but the left will no doubt manage to do damage and still keep their hands clean.

As for Glenn Beck himself, I have stopped listening to him just because I now - rightly or wrongly - perceive a "mean streak" in him (and Pat Gray) that is off-putting. He is not always wrong, but he is increasingly erratic, and at least as Mitt and Newt are concerned, increasingly disingenuous.

Actually, voicing support for Santorum is a push for Romney when one considers Santorum siphons votes from Newt.

I gave Glenn another chance this week, and tunred him on. Ten minutes after calling Newt a liar Beck said Gingrich “was removed from the House for ethics violations.” Tata, Glenn.

Yes, what he has DONE indeed. And if Beck were really interested in true history - he would present a balanced picture of Newt showing that which is undeniably good along with that which was disturbing.

I was invited the same way everyone else was. My post was reviewed and put up.

As for my tone, I guess it could come across as a little condescending. That wasn’t my intent. See what I get for trying to be clever

To even imply that Newt’s successes and failures rise and fall upon the whims of Glenn Beck is silly.

Glenn is an American like the rest of us. He can endorse which ever candidate he pleases. However, I don’t think you are a regular listener to Glenn. He pulverized Romney last week and said many many positive things about Newt.

Glenn worked in Pennsylvania for many years and is good friends with Santorum.

Reagan was Wilsonian and so is Beck. Look up the word.

Newt said many times that FDR was the greatest POTUS of the 20th century based on his ability to self govern and get things done. Beck always cuts off that last part.

Andrew Jackson was a ridiculous topic Beck tried to bring up.

You signed up yesterday just to lead us? You're the most awesomest ever!

I just heard about this a few days ago.

There are George Soros funded operations out there paying people to infiltrate sites like FreeRepublic to rake the muck.

In fact, I think I heard about it on Glenn Beck's show. Which makes sense why his first post would be to stir up anti-Beck sentiment.

He's a seminar FReeper. Everyone keep your eyes peeled. Where's there's one, there's usually a lot more.

Like cockroaches.
