Far be it for me to offer unsolicited advice to Sarah Palin. She's built a very successful career out of going rogue and certainly doesn't need any tips from me.
And, as an occasional pundit, a political influencer and a private citizen, she's free to throw her weight behind anyone she wants.
But I just have to say it: Newt Gingrich? Really?
Now, I'm not in the camp of conservative elites who think she's seen her best days and should politely retire to obscurity. If anything, the premiere of "Game Change" on HBO on Saturday is proof that she's still relevant; she's got considerable influence over a certain wing of the party.
And so with great power comes great responsibility. Is Newton Leroy Gingrich the most responsible pick?
Of all the remaining candidates, in fact, the one that makes the least sense is Newt. Mitt Romney I could see, if she wanted to bring the party together. Rick Santorum I could see for his social conservatism, strong Christian faith and similar family stories. I could even see Ron Paul for his "throw the bums out" and "end the Fed" rogue-isms. But Newt?
When rumors first started swirling that Palin might back the former House speaker and self-appointed "cheerful" candidate, Gingrich was surging then. She said she'd vote for him in South Carolina if she could. She wanted to keep the primary alive, she said. And, playing to Newt's strength at the time, she urged "more debates" and "more vetting of candidates."
But now, with Newt's ham-fisted campaign out of mojo, and no debates on the horizon, it would seem like a good time to jump off that train and get behind Romney or Santorum....

She answered her own question: “She’s built a very successful career out of going rogue”
Who on earth is S.E. Cupp?
And why should I care about anything someone says on CNN? I stopped watching that channel years ago.
She does not believe in God either.
Go Newt
She wrote a book about the media being anti- Christianity, and then she supports a Mormon Bishop, an anti-Christian religion, and says that he can'unite' the party.
She even prefers Paul to Gingrich.
She annoys me.
Me too!
She’s an atheist, hired by Glenn Beck.
You are right, she is an atheist.
What I didn’t know until I did a search to verify your statement, was that atheists have purity tests, many are suspicious of her full commitment to not having faith. LOL, it all sounds very strange, here is one of them discussing her.

And in a seemingly unrelated story:
RNC: Newt leads Santorum in delegates

What do Milt, Glen and Harry have in common?
Do tell!
S.E. Cupp has a very juvenile writing style. And in every photo I’ve seen of her, she seems to be putting all of her effort into looking hot for the camera...makes it hard to respect her when she seems to be primarily focused on filling the “hot conservative female” niche.
I give up.
You should see her site, it is clear that she is promoting herself like a model, she even has “latest photos” of herself.
Oh, being Mormon, I forget about Glenn Beck since I have never seen his show, or listened to his radio show for more than a few minutes and I didn’t catch the first names as those three Mormons, it is pretty late here.
On that note, I’m going to bed.
Co-religionists.

S. E. Cupp has joined Ann Coulter in making dumb moves that have destroyed whatever career she had. After joining on with Glen Beck, Cupp has pretty much disappeared from view.
hahahaha!
Beck isn’t in that photo, he is the hyper little yippy dog.
The wife must have taken him to the groomer for bows and nail polish.
Who is Glenn Beck????
With one or two exceptions, all the responses on this thread so far are ad hominem, shoot the messenger responses.
The message may not be what Newtonians want to hear, but shooting the messenger instead of engaging her arguments substantively sorta kinda implies that maybe the arguments have some credibility.
And a list of 30 million links purporting to show the scurrilous voting record of Newt’s opponents as well as Peter Pan’s poor taste in movies
is not a substantive response.
Just sayin’
S.E. Cupp is just another little GOP elite wannabe that has somehow gotten herself a spot as talking pundit on Foxney News.
“Who on earth is S.E. Cupp?”

A cute and intelligent young thing, not yet all grown up: Currently going through those fashionably hip-atheist growing pains.
Let’s see. If someone at The Communist News Network is against one of our candidates does that mean that’s the one they are most afraid of. I’ll leave it up to you to decide.

Does this guy know he has two hats on?? So you also support Mitt Romney and Ron Paul over Speaker Gingrich, the conservative endorsed by freerepublic? We need to take that serious, and get down to making "substantive" arguments against Paul and Romney to you?
I clicked through on your link, and I find the following:
Where S.E Cupp really pisses me off (besides all the other ways she really pisses me off) is that she is the one good looking woman I have ever come across who claims to be an atheist. Why does that piss me off? Simple: the one female atheist who is actually good looking is nothing more than a theist in atheists clothing. Bah!
(Cat exits bag at high speed.)
Cheers!
LOL, good catch, remember that one for future use.
But there's just one thing.
Despite the age difference, her FIVE children (one of whom is special needs), the stress of the campaign, the lawsuits, and the attempted destruction of her family,...
Palin is still WAY hotter than you.
And your attitude shows that you know it.
Cheers!
SC Cupp used tobe a moderator on Fox News, when Glenn left she went
with him to GBTV. I was very surprised to near she was an atheist !
Glenn is so religious.
I love everything Newt is saying now. Only problem is that he is Newt. Newt wants to get elected.
Will he decide he thinks different tomorrow? He might if he thinks he knows better than you.
“Who on earth is S.E. Cupp?”
I believe it is an asymmetrical bra size but I could be wrong.
I want a candidate who thinks for themselves, not a “party man,” one who’s a “team player,” one who submits themselves to groupthink, one who “goes along to get along,” or one who thinks “I don’t understand this and it doesn’t make sense, but my party and/or church says it’s right, so I’m going to do it.” I don’t want a candidate who’s part of a machine, I want one who rages against the machine. You don’t hire someone for a difficult, challenging job because you want them to follow a little rulebook in lockstep and never think creatively or think for themselves. You have to get a sense of whether you trust their judgment based on past performance, and then let them use that judgment. Obviously you can fire them or push back if you believe later that you made a mistake in picking them.
So you trust Milt or Ricky more than the man who brought us the Contract with America, retook congress for the first time in many decades, reformed welfare, balanced the budget and helped end the cold war? Please show us what Gov. Romney or Sen. Santorum ever accomplished that was even close to the level of what Speaker Gingrich did. Seriously. Newt on a bad day is better than Ricky or Milt on a good day. And don’t get me started on Wrong Paul!
There was a time I was quite favorably disposed toward Newtsie.
But the way his supporters have behaved on Free Republic disabused me of that notion. As far as I can see, FReepers are busy unendorsing Newt with every childish snit they dump into Santorum threads. I’ve seen next to nothing positive about Noot for the last two weeks, just anti-Santorum dreck.
With FRiends like that, who needs enemies?
I clicked the thread looking for a pic of Cupp’s ass. Anybody have it?
The hot conservative female athiest who likes conservatives niche.
I think she has mined it pretty good.
Supporting Romney and Paul over Gingrich is pretty revealing.
I take it that you are first for Santorum, then Romney.
