On Friday's The Ed Show on MSNBC, host Ed Schultz and MSNBC political analyst Richard Wolffe - formerly of Newsweek - drew attention to a woman at a shooting range who recently encouraged Rick Santorum to "pretend it's Obama" while the GOP presidential candidate was firing at a target.
After Schultz noted that Santorum criticized the comment when it was brought to his attention, Wolffe warned viewers:

Well, think what happened towards the end of the McCain campaign in 2008, the kind of comments that were coming out of the crowds then, we're going to see the same thing again. Brace yourself. This kind of ugliness will come out, it will be more vocal...
The MSNBC analyst may have been referring to a report debunked by the Secret Service that someone in the audience shouted, "Kill him," during a rally with Sarah Palin in Pennsylvania in October 2008.
Wolffe went on to admonish Santorum for visiting a shooting range during the campaign, asserting that "you're asking for trouble" by doing so. Wolffe:
But, honestly, what kind of candidate goes and has an event at a shooting range? I mean, you're asking for trouble.
For his part, after playing clips from the shooting range, Schultz had set up Wolffe's take as the MSNBC host posed, "He distanced himself from it, but what does this say about this incident and about Santorum's supporters and the people that are hanging around Republican candidates?"
This was on FOX.
Are you aware of this new law, just sighed by “Obama”?
May the Lord have mercy on us.

Obama's fall campaign theme: "It's all about the racism!!
Guilty whites simply must vote for Obama.
Ugliness like the Black Panthers putting a dead or alive bounty on an innocent man?
How is that different from a hit contract?
Obama jumped right on the Trayvon Martin thing and of course the reason he did was to suck in the Whites who feel guilty every time something like this happens.
How about those people in chicago and that little 6 year old girl. where is the outbreak of blacks condemning that.
Where is Obama when it comes to criticising his suck butt Rahm Emmanuel.
Santorum distances himself from the comment.
Obama,”They(Republicans) bring a knife, we bring a gun.”
Or Jimmy Hoffa, speaking about the Tea Party, saying "We gotta take these ____ out!" (with Barack Obama standing a few feet away, waiting to come to the microphone.)
Hey, why should Obama expect any better treatment than we give our own candidates.
That’s where I think people like Limbaugh, Beck, Levin and others have failed us.
Obama is stirring anger in this country and heading us toward a nationwide crackdown on our freedoms but no one is pointing out the peaceful nature of flyover country. We’re angry but not on the edge of a riot. Someone needs to head off a crack down on those of us who aren’t involved.
GOD help us.
It wasn’t just Obama - this is a house Bill, which means a lot of Republicans voted for it!
Read the Breitbart Investigation thread. Is interesting we know about Whitney already. Something to think about. He was drinking at the bar not long before. Something in his drink??? Yes, and funeral and all was pretty private and quiet. Are all of us conservatives at risk????
Good question.
It’s not the GOP’s war on women it’s the GOP war WITH women. Liberals wanted women in combat - lock and load.
By signing executive order for peacxetime marial law, he is now throwing all the tricks in his bag to get us to revolt. We need to be much more clever than that.
