“Tokyo Rove” makes it official for me:
I’m not a Republican, I’m a conservative.
Not one dime for the RNC. What I don’t understand even now is why does the Republican establishment try to be liked by those who hate them? If the liberals are going to hate you anyway, why not do something to at least earn that hatred, like stand on your conservative beliefs & if they start growling and threatening, tell them you own guns & aren’t afraid to defend yourself.
Whatever happened to “Judge a man not by his friends, but by his enemies”?
For example, look at Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-SC. Some demented woman accosted him in a church parking lot but he’s here to tell the tale.

When I read this, I thought of James Bond in Goldfinger.
Bond is strapped to a table and a laser is about to cut him in half, and Bond asks Goldfinger, “I suppose you want me to beg now?”
Goldfinger replies, “No, Mr Bond. I want you to die!”
The Dems aren’t “trying to scare us”. They want us GONE through imprisonment, assimilation, or death.
Rove is an idiot or a traitor, and is probably both.

I think the people who keep telling us that we’re toast without the Republican Party oughta do themselves a favor and STFU now.
Because Rove just made it quite clear which side he’s on. He’s on the side of Washington DC, not America.
If the GOP is replaced by another party, the sooner the better.

Notice that Rove isn't telling the treason lobby in no uncertain terms, to STOP IT. He's subtly advising them to slow down and take baby steps, instead.

They’ve already started outlawing one subgroup at a time—people not convicted of anything or committed—a very effective, incremental tactic. Eventually, the only way to legally possess firearms will be by spending very large amounts of money (attorneys for fixing records, insurance, fees, etc.).

I didn’t see it at the time, but you are correct.
