Rejected by voters, Palin and Romney look for roles as GOP power brokers
MSNBC's Martin Bashir Show ^ | March 30, 2013 | Noel Hartman

Just in case you missed the not-so-subtle message of Sarah Palin’s new video–”Loaded for Bear“–it appears onscreen fifteen seconds after the beginning and takes the form of a Politico headline proclaiming the one-time vice-presidential candidate a “kingmaker.” (Strangely, “kingmaker” is also one of the titles that pops up about fifteen seconds into the opening of the Colbert Report.)

For such a persistent critic of the “lamestream media,” Palin has to rely on a wide variety of sources in the press to bolster her status as a power player in conservative politics.

In addition to the headline in Politico, her video also features this one from Buzzfeed:

At CPAC, Sarah Palin Shows She’s Still Got It

The Daily Beast:

The Power of the Palin Endorsement

Huffington Post:

Jim DeMint: Sarah Palin Has “Done More For the Republican Party Than Anyone Since Ronald Reagan”

Salon:

Palin at CPAC: “Mr. President, you lie”

Palin remains an important and, among some conservatives, even a revered figure. Republicans opposed to Karl Rove’s “Conservative Victory Project” may rally to Palin as an alternative leader in the party. Her speech at CPAC this year included plenty of barbs for President Obama, but she also took a few shots at her own party’s establishment when she said that “Washington” should not “vet” GOP candidates in next year’s elections. (Rove responded in kind.)

For Mitt Romney, however, the establishment wing of the party may be the only avenue left if he wants to continue playing a role in Republican politics....

How did the "voters" "reject" Governor Sarah Palin? When they wouldn't send an elderly, frail, wishy-washy, me-too white male RINO (the worst candidate since George McGovern) to the White House after eight years of President Bush's Democrat-Lite bumbling, terrible optics and public relations? Yeah, that's all on Sarah, not John McCain and his sad, incompetent team of campaign aide losers (yes, I'm pointing at you Steve and Nicole).

Sarah Palin hasn’t changed her message. She was and still is the “rogue” anti-establishment citizen. The MSM seems conflicted. They work like hell to destroy her and yet try to take the credit for her success.

Rejected by brain-dead voters and believe me, Palin will accept that. She loves intelligent voters.

I was going to ask that very question.
When did the voters reject Palin, they rejected McCain.

Martin Bashir has issues..he despises Sarah Palin yet can’t stop obsessing about her..hmmm..maybe if Sarah kissed the ass of a pedophile like Bashir did when he slobbered all over Michael Jackson maybe he would like her more..the voters did not reject Sarah Palin..the ONLY reason, I repeat the ONLY REASON why I voted for John McCain was because of Sarah Palin, otherwise I would have stayed home.

The Los Angeles Times reported this week that Romney is organizing a summer gathering in Park City, Utah, that will bring together “experts and enthusiasts” from the worlds of business and politics. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Rep. Paul Ryan, Romney’s former running-mate, are said to be attending.
Some of Romney’s post-election statements also suggest that he wants to remain part of the conversation about public affairs.

I have tried to warn people of this, the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, anti-gun, pro-Romneycare, Romney, was the pinnacle of rino success to date, the accomplishment of decades of rino efforts to once and for all make the break from conservatism.

Romney even ran pro-choice ads in some markets, his loss was a setback for the rino branch, but they still want to defend and advance on the gains of his last six years of moving the party left.

Because most do not care enough about their vote to search out the truth on each candidate. Instead they believe the lies of the media.

Many on the right settled for rino romney because they also believed the lie of the gop-e; that only romney could win.

Hopefully this election, we will stand up for true conservatives and not allow our votes to be directed by others whose values we detest. If every conservative stands strong and does not blink, the gop-e will see that they don't own us. If they crown a rino, then we know we must look elsewhere for leadership.

It’s also worth noting that it was Mittens’ people in McCain’s camp and outside of it who tried their best to sabotage Palin even up to the eve of the election. The same guy who showed up on TV bashing Palin was one of his chief advisers on his campaign against Obozo.

Mr. Romney: You had your fair shot. Too bad you surrounded yourself with incompetence.

Now please do all of us a favor: take your money, go someplace quiet, sit down, shut up for the rest of your life and enjoy it.

Thank you.

Mr. RomneyCARE was rejected by America after
HE and ROVE led the antiPalin attacks of 2008.

Gov. Palin was NOT rejected as was the author
of gay marriage and RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE and flipfloppery.
