Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Sarah Palin, the GOP’s New, Kinda New and Old Voices (Lay down a tarp)

Congressional Republican redistributors of wealth continue to protect the pen of porcine wealth-gatherers as they cement their role in the Tea Party (actually, whoever directs the party) jihad against Democrats and moderates.

If Republicans have ever told the truth about anything, it’s the fact that there has been a massive redistribution of wealth. When you have the Walmart Walton heirs owning more wealth (assets minus liabilities) than the bottom 41.5% of the population, or nearly 49 million people; that’s redistribution. And those numbers don’t even including wages.

Taking all money stats into consideration, a massive quantity of America’s wealth is concentrated in the top 1-2% of the population. Of course Republicans would have you believe it’s the rich who are being robbed of their wealth. Provide me one example where the poor and middle-class have outstripped the top 2% in wealth building over the last few decades. In fact, Federal Reserve figures reveal that from 2007-2010 the average family lost 39% of their wealth. Again, the Bush administration’s housing bubble, economic and tax policies and rampant corruption being the primary reasons.

One could say that our current situation is analogous to the old English fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk” (some people still prefer “Jack the Giant Killer”). In the fairy tale, Jack’s cow stopped giving milk. Today’s Republicans want to render the administration’s cow incapable of producing the milk of human kindness and decency. They’ve accomplished this as millions of people most in need of fiscal nourishment have lost their jobs as a result of George W. Bush policies and the refusal of Congressional Republicans to approve meaningful jobs bills, alternate energy development and infrastructure projects....

So, when the wealth that is earned by the parents is inherited by the kids, it’s “redistribution” according to this fool! These people never tire of bastardizing and twisting the English language to fit their propaganda aim. The light of truth should be shed on it every time it’s tried, otherwise we continue to get things like “gay marriage”.

Wal-Mart is my favorite place to shop for everyday living. It is clean, has every item I need priced at a reasonable price. And they accept returns with out any hassle. So why should’nt the Walton’s be super rich? They have created a super product...outstanding retailing. That helps millions below the top 2% live better lives.

What this stupid article does not understand is top down re-distribution of wealth, Obama style, punishes the most productive and rewards the least productive. THAT HURTS THE VAST MIDDLE CLASS. Imagine a world without PC’s and Windows operating system, without Wal-Mart & Target, without Automobiles, without mass produced steel...on and on. Entrepreneurs such as Sam Walton, Bill Gates, Henry Ford, Henry Bessemer, we would not have all these products. What the idiot socialists do not want to admit is that those people did not get rich by robbing others. They created wealth by inventing new products and improving productivity. They created products people wanted and benefited from.

I was thinking the exact same thing. It is bad enough that almost every single point the author tries to make is based on at least one false assumption.

Start with redistribution vs accumulation.

“America’s wealth”? Individual Americans have wealth. The only wealth the country has has been taken from its individual citizens through taxation or outright seizure.

This Leftist way of thinking is what is taught in the government indoctrination centers, known as “public schools” and “universities.”

Typical democrat voter.

Too stupid to understand the dems call their economic plan “trickle up economics” for a reason.

It redistributes the wealth from the working poor and middle class to the top.

Tell me Mr. Dumb ass dem, when you have a plan that requires most of the revenue to the govt to come from the income of the top 5% of earners, exactly how do you increase revenue to the govt without also having a plan to increase the income of the top earners?

Raise taxes on the rich, the rich then raise their prices for the goods and services they provide.

The working poor and middle class that actually have to pay for the goods and services out of their pocket have to pay more and more of their wealth is moved to the top.

Trickle up economics is nothing more complicated that govt created inflation.
